Start low. Increment poundage slowly. Use a spotter.
There's nothing wrong with bench pressing just the 45 lb. bar. Get a feel. Gain confidence. Add 20 lbs. Repeat.
:obama:

Good look. I'll give that a try

I just started deadlifting since yall were hyping it on the other site, Im starting off light to get a feel for it

When I was 250-260lbs I did 405 just to be able to say I did it.

I'm like 205lb now, probably could do 350-360 on a max.

My bench workout is:

Set 1 225 12 reps
Set 2 245 10 reps
Set 3 275 8 reps
Set 4 295 5 reps
Set 5 315 4-5 reps
Set 6 315 4-5 reps
Set 7 275 8 reps
Set 8 245 12 reps
Set 9 225 14 reps

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?

you're stupid as fukk

ive been back at the gym for about 18 weeks :snoop:

i clearly stated in the quote i never went to the gym in 2011, and came back in 2012

:comeon:

i can still max bench 250

:stopitslime:

First and foremost, fukk outta here, you CLEARLY stated your max was 250lbs and you could "still max" that after a long layoff. You're not going up 75lbs on your max bench in 3 weeks, especially since you said your max bench was 250 on July 20th, period. The second you said there's no strength loss after long layoffs everyone knew you were on some bullshyt :duck: status.

lemme put this in simple terms so your incompetant ass can configure:

1) I didn't go to the gym in 2011
2) I came back in 2012
3) I could max bench 250 when i came back
4) now im at 325 lbs.

you understand this pablo? or do you need it in even simpler terms, :childplease:

That's some serious volume my neeger :why:

I've been doing pyramid bench workouts forever. I just try to keep it up so I dont lose it. I dont go hard on anything else though except the treadmill.
