i know you ain't talkin about me, but a lot of you guys in here seem to think everything is ducktales. some ppl do lie for whatever reason, but that doesn't mean you guys gotta start flingin ducktales around whenever someone claims they are strong.

gooney and some ppl may lie but some ppl actually can lift heavy shyt

ive seen plenty of strong guys during my time lifting and on a thread like this strong ppl are more likely to post than someone who maxes out at 135 :leostare:

nah not you fam..you didn't even list your height and weight. I believe some of the maxes around here...just not the height and weight associated with it. Dudes are probably shorter than what they claim or weigh more.

Some dudes are throwing around elite numbers here:childplease: It's all good though, it's just the internet..whatever makes these guys (ones who lie) feel good:manny:

Never tried to max out, the gym goes up to 100dbs so I never went past that

Start low. Increment poundage slowly. Use a spotter.
There's nothing wrong with bench pressing just the 45 lb. bar. Get a feel. Gain confidence. Add 20 lbs. Repeat.

i can still max bench 250 after not going to the gym for a year, actually happened during the year 2011, never went to the gym, came back in 2012 and was still doing big boy weights :heh:

I dont bench much , but I can do 120lb dumbbells each hand 2 reps.

495 for 15 reps, 200 iq, 150k a year, 9.9/10 wife

A couple months ago I put up 275x3 but I was on dat der, I never max so I guess its around 250-260ish due to the amount times I can bench 225. I put up 250x1 pretty easy a few weeks ago though. Goal for next summer is 315 for 4-6 reps.
