Ill thnk about it.....but It's just shyt acting. Mknight, who isn't the best director as we all know should've recognized how terrible that line was and coached Walhberg on how to deliver it much better. But that's where the shyt directing comes into play.

But then again without that terrible scene that film may have not had any entertainment value whatsoever.

GOAT movie. I don't think I've ever spent time on here really talking about fukking great this movie is.

And the performances fit actually because they're both supposed to be socially unhinged (Roberts playing somewhat of a simpleton, Voight playing a sociopath).

Overacting is exactly what the term implies, it's when actors exaggerate immensely and it comes of more ridiculous than dramatic.

Perfect example of terrible overacting:
