Jeremy piven in entourage is textbook overacting

Surprised it took this long to see him mentioned. I enjoyed the early season of Entourage as much as anyone else but Ari was basically written to be overacted.

GOAT movie. I don't think I've ever spent time on here really talking about fukking great this movie is.

And the performances fit actually because they're both supposed to be socially unhinged (Roberts playing somewhat of a simpleton, Voight playing a sociopath).

Da Gawd Kurosawa wrote the script for Runaway Train and yeah it really is an underrated classic

It's not always bad though, here's an example of overacting that makes the whole thing better:



It often just depends on what they're going for.

First one, his fukking daughter was murdered. I've seen people act out like that to much less that multiple times in life.

2nd one, how's that over acting. Dude was a straight up psycho who flips in any given moment. He wanted Leon dead so the goon asked a dumb ass question, I would of reacted the same way.

Training day, really? WTF is wrong with y'all.
