Today I biked 10.5 miles, off day from lifting.
Last few days I've done 15 minutes on the stairmaster stepper after lifting, yesterday I did 8 on the airdyne and my lungs were on fire so I'm trying to commit to cardio more lol.
I can't run on account of a surgically reconstructed ankle (have to do leg press instead of squats too) so jump roping is hard too, even though that was my favorite when I wrestled.

If you're trying to get some cardio work in without tweaking your knee you should try battle ropes

Mondays: long bike ride
Thursdays: hill sprints on the bike
Fridays: short bike ride

When I was cutting I would do a long ride on Sunday, Monday and Thursday when I had the energy. I'd usually just do 2 rides though. I wanna get more into swimming but all the pools around here are expensive AF.

What type of bike you got, if you don't mind me asking?

I'm at 180 now....how do I maintain this weight while toning, trimming stomach etc

I walk/jog 3 miles a day by the way.....5x a week

I guess you mean maintaining your muscle.

If you're at or below 20% body fat you're better off with hiit because your body may have adapted to steady state exercise to the point where you won't see any progress. If you continue with steady state cardio you may even lose muscle (happened to me trying to drop weight a while back)

I like doing battle ropes, hill sprints, and 100m/200m sprints on the track.

If I can't make it to the track I'll sprint on the elliptical machine by sprinting for 100 steps and walking 100 for 20 minutes. I also do battle ropes for 20 minutes total

It really jacks your metabolism up and if you don't eat over bmr calories you'll lose more weight/fat after the workout due to epoc cuz your metabolism will be through the roof. If you find yourself breathing heavier throughout the day you're doing it right

So yeah replace your steady state cardio with some hiit. I hear jumping rope is good too

Some cats box,run,swim,jump rope,etc.

What is everyone doing?

Me:

Monday&Tuesday: After a lifting session I jump rope 500 jumps,go home rest a little run 2 miles,then jump another 500 jumps.

Wednesday&Thursday:

After lifting I swim 2 miles,jump rope 500 jumps,go home rest,then jump 700 jumps.

That's it for the week.

Let's hear it fellas and Ladies.

How long do your workouts last in total each time? Sounds like hours...
