He prolly talking about ella Mai. And she sings with an American accent.
Most british singers you don't really hear their accent when they sing...

Only on certain words

Doris from the Cranberries had a hard irish accent though...but she wasn't british:pachaha:

They're talking to a culture that has been defining modern music/pop culture since the 1890's though :manny:

1870s:wow:

That's an oxymoron, I've never witnessed it unless she's talking about 1st Generation African/Caribbeans. Grime is a genre it ain't a culture unless you guys consider it as American influenced.

I know they sound like stammering children with that silly ass British accent
South East England accents particularly Estuary, Cockney, and the London street talk is disgusting these buggers can hardly pronounce words properly.

the jubilee singers, one of the most important pieces to the puzzle

How fitting, to this thread, that they even had Queen Victoria go:wow:

most of their rappers are trash compared to ours, but at least in london, their style game, slang and parties are on par with nyc / la.

the nigerian / jamaican influence means you can find afrobeats/dancehall parties spots more easily than most cities in the US... which honestly, ARE more jumpin than hip-hop clubs these days

Nah, far from it lol. They have a really cool ass culture but it ain’t touching African American Culture like that. Our sauce is timeless and simply illmatic and knows no limit, especially when it comes to music, dance, social justice, fashion, hair care, food, language, slang, art, and literary.

Curious tho, what kind of dances do Black British ppl have? And I’m asking about any dances unique to BB Culture that are common in British Hip Hop, Drum & Bass, UK Garage, 2-Step, Dubstep, and Jungle rather than imported dances from Jamaica and West Africa.

The most hilarious shyt about these debates is that the average AA and Black British person doesn't know shyt about the other yet will be the most vocal:scust:

I have friends who think The Bay Area is Atlanta :dead:

You've got brehs in here who probably couldnt tell you an English city apart from London or a borough in London

You cannot possibly compare the two when there's apparently more Black people in New York alone than Britain.

Your friends saying ATL invented most of the world’s slang breh?

I’m black British. This is known already
But I probably should have said “one of”

And it ain’t about being divisive I know some brehs in here joke but some are proper serious about their rhetoric towards black cultures outside of the US and it’s down to solely ignorance and education.
