Nowadays, cracks in relationships are like cracks in windshields. You're gonna have to overhaul the whole thing or accept that it's going to fall apart. There's really no incentive to "problem solve" or "figure things out" any more. There's more options than ever now, and people are starting to attach values to their relationships, values that can fluctuate or be surpassed any day.

I hear girls say every day that when they find a richer, better off man, they're on to that next one. Dudes out here value getting ass and stacking chips more than spending or building with one particular person. The concept of growing and developing with one person, in a committed union, is falling by the wayside. And to take its place, we have a culture of what amounts to drive thru relationships, where we have one eye on the now, and the other looking for the next best thing.

We're in a totally different generation, and it'll be interesting to see where things stand about a couple decades from now.

Marriage among heterosexual people is becoming a thing of the past. Women hate anything worth of patience and want a man to trick on them and provide for them on the first date.

Eh. I think once you decide to get married, the whole "winning" thing goes out the window, especially if you have kids. Like you said, it's basically the assumption of a massive amount of responsibility, obligation, and compromise with little recompense. I'd have to imagine any man would know that before choosing to tie the knot, tho.

The thing is increase life expectancy is not making people divorce, people are marrying at 30 divorcing at 32/33...its the feminist ideals of this society that can unstable women too much power. A lot of these dudes go into these marriages looking at their wives as equals when you are supposed to be over here. My dad NEVER relinquished his power as man to my mom. My dad taught me that letting a woman lead you, is like letting your child lead you, once you do that you lose respect. Yup this is a huge factor. I've heard plenty of old couples 65+ who said their spouse cheated but they stayed because of what would be said about them, and basically MONEY.

What many don't realize is that they are looking for a woman that they can get settled with and just chill around the house and never have to prove themselves ever again. That option does not actually exist you have to be the leader 24/7 throughout the whole relationship.
