Marry women from broken home brehettes

I just came from a memorial service for my friends father, his parents were married 52 years, he's been happily married to his wife now 10 years.

I think it's pretty important for people to actually see how a marriage works, so a man or woman that comes from a stable family is more likely to have a stable marriage themselves because they know what it takes and saw an example of it a large portion of their life.

I dunno really. I see couples like the neeleys divorcing and im taken aback. I did find them a lil over the top mushy . I got and stayed married for all the wrong reasons the first time and ended up paying him to sign the divorce papers cuz he wouldnt sign them otherwise. I see alotta infidelity in marriages that look perfect from the outside. And i see divorces from ppl who you would think are happy. I took my time getting married again. I would have been ok without the legalities. But i also didnt wanna live in sin for the rest of my life either. Im actually in a happy place, i aint getting beat on, or taken advantage of so only way out of this marriage is death or prison.

women just dont need men like they use to. why live under a mans "rule" if you're both economically equal.

and if the man is better off financially, she can still live off his dime in the divorce.

Yup this is a huge factor. I've heard plenty of old couples 65+ who said their spouse cheated but they stayed because of what would be said about them, and basically MONEY.

If I didn't have any money and I was married I might would stay longer too if I had no choice. But let my husband cheat on me and I'm balling.

He is gone!

SOMETHIN REAL FO YO ASS IN THESE HANDS!!!!
:ehh: Impressive.
Oh, I forgot to mention, no Degrees, no Certs, nothing; just a bunch of call-center experience, actually that's how we met....
we both partied too hard, and flunked out of OU, and before I met her I went into the Army, which just made me worse :shaq:
We both just grew up together, and fought, made up, partied, scraped up money, fought some more, and all that, and about:patrice:6 or 7 years in, things started to click.....

Sometimes, the only thing we could do right was love each other...

Patience is the game, but you GOTTA GET WITH SOMEBODY THAT MAKES TIME FLY....
that's my #1 advice

What @The Maverick said.

Nobody cares.

Women just want the security (money) that comes with marriage, bragging about their ring, but eventually want new dikk and freedom
Men want a slave that does as he says as he continues to live the single life outside the family home

Money ruined my parents marriage though.

Life move to fast for this ADD generation. They want to hit the main and side the same damn day and expect not to get caught.

Not to mention these kids growing up in a single parent home never a stable marriage. The fictional shyt dont even exist on tv anymore like the Banks cosbys or winslows

:salute: You know how many beautiful weddings we been to\a part of, only to find out fukkery was afoot not even a week later?

Maybe getting married broke is the key. :ehh:

I'll never forget how wifey stood by my side and believed in me when no one else did. Loved me for the sake of love and no other benefit. We've been through so much together. That kinda bond is hard to break. :mjcry:

Marriage on a whole are just as shytty as they've always been.

Just cuz muthafukkaz stuck around with more frequency back in the day doesn't mean they were happy. They just had less options.

It's just easier and more beneficial for muthafukkaz (hoes especially) to get out of 'em nowadays & more ways of the average person finding out about all the failures via news/social media/etc, so it seems like a bigger deal than it is.
