North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
You gotta look at who the top rap artists were over the past decade or so.

Drake - ain’t nobody trying to be the next Drake
Future - ain’t nobody trying to be the next future
Migos - ain’t nobody trying to be the next Migos.

And other rappers have bled over into so many other genres and sounds that it’s simply too niche.

Then there’s streaming and the way people consume music.

In the past your viewing options were limited when it came to videos. It’s was a lot easier to promote artists.

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Billie eillish is still in her early 20s
Ice spice is 23
Bad bunny is only just about to hit 30 next year
Lil yachty is 25
Jorja Smith is 26

Ice Spice sold like 8k first week and that's with streaming numbers being able to be faked... They are trying to turn her into a star, there's a couple singles that got big but will she be around in another year or two? I don't know. Glorilla went through the same thing and now you don't hear her.
