But a lot of these "conscious" artists sound like they know something ...until they say some bullshyt and actual topical experts have to address the lie or misunderstanding.

I really dont need these types of conscious artists because I go through all the effort of reading, learning, and reassessing these topics. These artists dont, especially the young ones who clearly dont have the background to speak on a lot of things beyond superficial statements and insights.

Its only black audiences that require athletes or entertainers in their 20s to speak for them

Because mainstream modern day rap music moves where white consumer dollars are spent and those consumers would much rather be entertained by black self inflicted genocide than have to hear about white directed and approved oppression. For mainstream rap to ever mean anything again black people would need to own our own media outlets on a national scale and begin to filter the content.

So yeah.
