The game don’t respect it no more

Look how they did Big Krit
:francis:

Drill makes you blow up unfortunately
Honestly that wasn't Krit's issue

Krit's highest problem was he didn't have a commanding voice. Everybody I tried to put on to Krit talked about his voice

Compare that with Kendrick, literally the same type of artist. Kendrick's voice change and variety made him what he is

That makes no sense :dahell:

He easily has the best rapper voice of his generation. And he uses several different flows. I don't see how you can say his voice isn't commanding. The original Mt Olympus easily disproves that

The real answer would be sample clearance issues delaying his debut album and disappointing fans of his mixtapes cause of the change to his sound.

He didn't have the machine backing him like kendrick. Def jam was never gonna be much of a help :mjlol:

Krit doesn't have a strong voice breh, and I'm a Krit fan

Bolded is irrelevant because if the songs we're gonna pop they were gonna pop:manny:

Kendrick had the Interscope machine but so did Bishop Lamont:mjlol: discounting Kendricks skill with voices and flows is disingenuous

Big Krit is living good and is a prime example of a successful rapper without switching up your craft and core sound , another thing, people mostly use hip hop/ rap for either party music , block shyt or depression level songs , the artist didn’t change , the consumer did , in return the rappers changed.

I mean fa sho he is but he not up like he was supposed to be originally imo

You know the make up of the execs of these record labels. Think. Same reason Durk's parent label won't sign off on his YE feature but will look the other way when we all know he's funding street wars all over the place. The messaging is all by design and these guys trade integrity for the dollar every time.
