The savage starlight thing kept showing up on TLOU part 1 and now part 2.
it was even on Uncharted 4.

I hope that's their next game or the next game is based off sci fi
It makes sense
So far ND has done platforming w/ Crash and Jak, action adventure w/ the later Jaks and Uncharted, and horror/action adventure w/ TLOU
The next step is sci fi or fantasy
Hopefully there is a black lead or there are multiple playable characters with at least one black player

New IP before TLOU 3.

I read an article with developers talking about how the PS5's technology will make developing games easier and faster, greatly shortening development times
ND will most likely split their teams (one for new IP, one for TLOU Part 3) and continue to do so for the rest of the generation
I predict this timeline for Naughty Dog

2021-TLOU Part 2 PS5 Remaster w/ ray tracing, advanced lighting, improved environments, etc. w/ multiplayer hopefully
2022- New IP
2023-TLOU Part 3
2024-New IP Sequel

Then to finish off the generation, ND will either
1) decide to revive an old franchise like Uncharted or Jak or leave that to another studio
2) finish the new IP trilogy
3) create another new IP

I prefer option 3)

I think he meant they've made some critically acclaimed games outside of just TLOU. Uncharted, Crash, TLOU and Jak are all stellar IPs with 1 or 2 classics in the franchise. One trick pony would be a dev like The Coalition or Turn 10 studios who up till now only have developed one franchise.)
