The matrix - saw it at age 12 with zero hype. Didn't even want to go, my friend's dad is a big sci fi fan and took us as an excuse to go see it. I said aight and had no expectations, sat there like :krs: the whole time

TDK - saw it at the midnight premiere, do the math.

Drive - another film with no hype for me. Went to a late showing in an empty theater when I was high as fukk. Whole ambiance had me :ohlawd:

Hostel - stupid movie but saw it with a big group, half girls in college. All stoned to death and everyone was expressing all emotions loudly :russ: an audience can really make a movie sometimes

NYC black coffee tough guys aka the Stoozy Boys
The Green Mile had every dude I saw it with bout to bite through their lip in order not to cry like a female in front of the sausage fest.

300 - I grew my beard out, lifted well into the triple digits and waited a whole night outside (couldn't catch a viewing) walking the streets of NY from 50th to 110th and back and forth till I caught in the morning. Was worth it. That day I became a Demi-god the likes Hercules would be jelly of. Not only was I tapping out every guy in gym, I ate about 3,000 calories of meat in one sitting. Needless to say, I was in beat mode, because of a fukking movie...

TDK obviously

and every MCU film :lolbron:

I don't think there's any movie that captivated so much in the theater as much as Jurassic Park.

I was seven when it was released and right in the middle of my 'dinosaur' phase. I remember my dad took me to a dinosaur exhibit where I got to see fossils and shyt and they had live robotic dinosaurs which was so cool for me. The land before time was like my favorite movie at that time so dinosaurs were the shyt for me.

That scene where the paleontologist sees the dinosaur for the first time is still the greatest cinematic experience I ever had. I fukking cried cuz it was so monumental at that time and cgi was so new. The dinosaur felt so real, and the music and sound just encapsulated everything for me. I'm not religious, but I definitely caught the holy ghost at that moment :lawd:

1. Jurassic Park
2. The matrix
3. Next friday
surprised not more matrix votes on here

it just came on and im like :gladbron: at the opening of trinity kicking ass. i didnt see it in theaters but i know i would have been hyped off of that slow mo and seeing her running on the wall

I just thought about this further, I would say my favorite movie theater experience is Avatar and TDK, Prometheus is up there as well... I was too young to really remember the OG Jurassic Park movie theater experience (I did in fact go to the movie theater to see this)

Infinity war and endgame hands down, there was just nothing like it, you would think I was at a wwe ppv with the crowd pops.

Another one I remember being pretty lit was sin city
