I watched A Beautiful Mind when I was 11 years old. It struck me deeply. Even at that young age.

Avatar, Interstellar and all three of Nolan's Batmans left me rooted to my seat even after the film ended.

If only I had watched Sunshine when it was in theatres.
I watched a special screening of Fist of Legend (jet li)..not in Hong Kong though..(I wish man)..shyt was bonkers, great atmosphere and left a deep and strong impression with me.
This was the first kung fu/martial arts cinema since dragon's forever that gave me that feeling..amazing.

Waited in line for 3 hours on my birthday to see it the first week it was released and haven't been as excited to see a movie since then.

The wait was worth it.

As a kid, it was The Empire Strikes back. The entire movie, especially the end, I was like :krs:

As an adult, it was going to the Nolan Batman trilogy marathon in Times Square, with the premiere of TDKR. Me and my friends had a blast. The entire audience was sharing food and flasks between movies, it felt like a family reunion or something.

Drag Me To Hell with my friend who gets caught up in uncontrollable laughter really easy. We seemed to be the only people in the room fully aware of Raimi's history in horror fukkery, and the only ones prepped for it. We laughed and cheered through the whole thing and when the goat called her a "black hearted whoo-hooo-hooore!" my buddy lost it so bad he kicked the back of the seat in front of him so hard nearly the entire row looked up. Then at the end some chick said to her boyfriend that she couldn't believe the director of Spider-Man made this and we laughed some more.

Speaking of my buddy, he also provided the most awkward movie theater experience I've ever had (I think I may have told this story before) when he lost his shyt at the ugly baby scene from Knocked Up. It was a packed house and I think he was laughing out loud, literally, for a full minute. He sat in the middle of our group and we all turned away from him on some "we don't know this man nor are we associated with him in any way" shyt.

The Matrix...I saw The Matrix opening weekend and I was'nt even checking for that movie to be honest. And that theater was PACKED and GLUED to the screen. No one was making jokes, no one was talking, it was just "Ohhhhh" "Ooooooo" after all the hot parts.

Same thing with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Clearly The Dark Knight

After regaining my faith in the Batman movie franchise after Begins, my excitement for the next 3 years slowly grew as I waited for the sequel.

That night before opening nationwide, my anticipation to finally witness greatness onscreen gave me :ohlawd: serious bubble guts. Couldn't wait to get to the theater for this. It did not disappoint.
That last scene...gave a brotha goosebumps.:ahh::blessed:
