Been a huge fan since the first EP.

The Beatnuts are definitely underrated legends. The first couple of projects they dropped, were classic. They lost a little steam when Fashion left, but they were always dope.
They made some of their best songs post Fashion

Those were cool, and they were still dope, but I always preferred their sh*t like "No Equal", "Reign of the Tec", "Rik's Joint", "Psycho Dwarf", 'Props Over Here", and "Hit Me With That".

That's always been their peak to me. That '93-'94 run.

Reign Of The Tec is one of my favorite songs ever, but they got better after that.

Street Level was their peak, to me.

But they recorded the first EP and that album all within the same year, so I always felt it was all the same, lol. I loved when their tracks were more jazzy and had that raw sound. I went crazy for those first two joints as a kid.

Beatnuts was elite level producers and good enough rappers to make good albums

Apologies to the Coli Tariq Cult (:mjlol:) but I always fukked with them 90s New York hip hop artists with Caribbean roots. The Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Jamaicans, Cubans, Haitians, whatever. They was New York as fukk but with some island influence and it was dope.
