I never checked them out but liked their beats for Fat Joe/TS. Where should I start?

Above the fray.
Classic dusted beats with wild obscure samples.

Was more of a fan of the music than lyrics. Years later, have caught their samples in all types of places.

Beatnuts was elite level producers and good enough rappers to make good albums

Apologies to the Coli Tariq Cult (:mjlol:) but I always fukked with them 90s New York hip hop artists with Caribbean roots. The Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Jamaicans, Cubans, Haitians, whatever. They was New York as fukk but with some island influence and it was dope.

Have to look at dudes who buy into YTer nonsense the same way you view MAGA followers.
We aired out lots of dudes who were on some Pino in Do The Right Thing shyt.

MFers with a Notorious B.I.G. avatar or related username talking that "fukk immigrants" shyt. Hahaha Looking like fools.

I cant lie though reading those old Fashion interviews, sounds like Juju was on some :mjpls: shyt.

So funny you say that because it wasn't until recently that I found out that Juju was wildin', and that's why Fashion left the group.

Fashion is still cool with Les, but him and Juju STILL have issues today. I don’t know what happened, but it made dude leave the group.

found 2 random interviews with fashion last year and this year. He said they talking now and him and les was trying to get juju to do a reunion run but juju don't think people will feel a beatnuts reunion Dumb money on the table for that especially a euro tour.

Essentially the friction started when juju sold fashion rhymes to chi ali but it got him in the door with chris lighty anyway. Fashion goes to jail for a year that's why hes not in a lot of videos with them. He came out of jail and started on street level and juju wanted full control of the group. Juju was the plug to native tongues and les was a background guy that went with the flow and shyt hit the fan. Funny because its always the me no black papi looking dudes going the hardest with that racist shyt and I think al tariq said hes rican and aa so he would know how that shyt looks :mjpls:.

Funny enough the beatnuts did half of tariqs album after the break up :mjlol:. But the thing about juju he fell out with both VIC and al tariq over shady business shyt. Ironic because the real friction started when they brought in VIC when fashion was in jail and fashion would say that VIC was trying to launch his own production career. Juju was the one that went back and told VIC what fashion was saying :scust:

That makes a lot of sense.

I knew Juju back then because he was always around Tip and Large Professor. Didn't meet Les until much later, but I was a huge fan of the group and would never see Fashion around with them. Then when dude left, I would see them talking about why he did and all they would say was that he was "focused on his solo sh*t now", lol.

But it kinda sounds like Juju might've been on some jealousy sh*t because Fashion was seen as the "real MC" of the group back then, and he was the one that people always looked to as the front man in the early days. I just peeped a couple of Fashion's interviews, and it sounds like Juju was doing a lot of wild and shady sh*t. A reunion would be dope, but I hope they take it back to the essence, if they ever do it.
