I said Africans initially because that's what most Black people in Europe consider themselves, as Africans, since they know which African country they come from. Even if they only hold European citizenship and have never even been on the continent they still will mostly identify culturally as also Congolese, Senegalese, etc. Obviously this doesnt included people from the Caribbean, who will also identify with whatever island they come from originally.
Not sure what the rest of your post is about, seems like you're saying what I'm saying : people in the Caribbean and Latin America in general have for obvious reasons -we all know history- lost a whole lot of the African culture they had initially, apart from some stuff here and there such as some evolution of the dances, some words, some religious practices, etc. But it's mostly remnants of the past I would say. Africans/Black People in Europe speak the language, travel back, have family on the continent, follow politics, the contemporary dances, music, etc. They're connected to the Africa of today. This seems quite obvious to me, unless I'm missing something.
no biggie.
i am from the UK from caribbean extraction. there are millions of caribbean breh brits who routinely get ignored in these convos. i have no idea about where my family came from in africa to the caribbean. my family history goes back to two caribbean countries - guyana and barbados (like riri).
excluding the UK there aren't that many countries with sizeable numbers of africans. you have france and belgium with a relatively large amount of brehs. possibly germany but that's more recent than the other two, and somewhat of a different case because you have more GI children and more of the african brehs aren't really permanent residents or integrated - high numbers are not permanent don't speak the language, don't travel back.
the standard routes into the UK for brehdom are a mix of student, marriage, skilled immigration etc. in germany it's asylum for men, as wife/sex workers for women. high skilled african immigrants don't choose germany that much.
method: get smuggler to drive you to northern africa, boat to italy, throw away passport, sneak across europe to your preferred destination country. if germany claim asylum, get a secret job, share ID/social numbers with an established and work as someone else, that guy takes a cut and gives you the rest. walk and public transport everywhere. keep your head down and avoid authorities until you can find a wife / have a baby ... or until you get caught. a german gets mad at you, threatens you, or says he will call the police and you run away. you cannot work under asylum (or could not). you have to stay in a particular district so many people abscond and go to bigger cities. these guys are largely excluded from normal society and are in no sense immigrated or integrated like the US/UK allow with gray immigration.
when claiming asylum you say someone is trying to kill you for some reason. germany then decides if put you on a list for fuller checks. those checks take years during which you can legally stay in germany.
how do i know this? because i am a breddah and i can tell you where to find hundreds of people like this right now today.
it is so common then when I, bank worker sports car driving professional, go out about town, you talk to a girl and within the first conversation she tells you she works with asylum seekers and can help me if i need it. but that is another story.
stats say 1% brehdom in germany but a lot of them will be mixed german (like in the UK but for different reasons) and the temporary residents as described above. you have spain, portugal, sweden and denmark with edge case numbers but they are small populations (ex spain) so numbers are low.
southern europeans are losing their minds being used as a way station for people just passing through.
TL;DR it's france and belgium for large numbers of established african brehs. the rest are a hotchpoch of variations. eastern europe can be largely discounted. smaller countries don't have the numbers. germany is a mess with few natural paths for brehs to enter, that brehs moving from africa with options find attractive. those types are more likely to move to the states or the UK.
