And I'm part AA and have AA family members especially from country ass North Carolina who most of yall wouldn't understand if they spoke.:heh: Yes, they eat rice A LOT. I grew up eating rice. One of my relatives from SC cooks a shyt load of rice. I agree AAs aren't rice OBSESSED like Caribbeans but saying AAs don't eat a lot of rice is false especially to someone with Carolinian roots in his family. If anything it depends on the state/
Well to your point AAs are very diverse. Shows in their foods and their music. AAs from NY and AAs from AL or LA are so far apart based on how you look at it it's almost like another culture so i understand certain general statements wont apply everywhere. But same thing among haitians. As tiny Haiti is (roughly 28,000 sq/km) Haitians from the North (Au-Cap, Gonaives, etc) are also different from Haitians from the South (Au-Cayes, Jeremy, Aquin, etc). If someone was to hang around haitians from Au-Cap you'd swear haitians put cashews in every fukking they cook. Meanwhile you wont find a trace of it (cashews) in Southern haitian foods.
True Caribbean people eat rice more than MF. I actually at this point can’t eat all the rice that Jamaicans put in there food lol

Yeah it's rather unhealthy when it comes to diabetes and diseases like that
