The problem was that the people in the matches were either pointless or irrelevant, not that booking mostly matches is a bad thing. Why in the hell is an Uso/Real Americans tag match happening on a go home RAW? Throw it on Superstars or Main Event.

Also, pacing is a big issue with WWE as well. Good pacing is more important than match/segment ratio and I didn't really think that this RAW had really good pacing throughout. Matches (Del Rio/Kofi) and Segments (Cena/Bryan) seemed to be longer than they should've been. Not to mention nonsensical shyt like the mixed tag and the divas segment. If you look at the results, it didn't seem all that bad, but actually watching it was a bit of a chore because it seemed like they tried to stretch 2 and a quarter to 2 and a half hours of material to 3 hours, and instead of using shytty segments to do it, they used wrestling. Which is good, but still off the mark.

That was my point, IWC for years have complained that RAW had way too much segments and not much matches. Now tonight, there were a lot more matches, much the show was still underwhelming and boring. The big problem was that not many angles were advanced other than Sandow/Rhodes, Cena/Bryan, Lesnar/Punk, and Wyatt/Kane. I think WWE really needS to go back and use the Russo concept of having most of the main roster involved in angle. That will help in giving guys with Kingston, Ryback, Fandango, PTP, etc, sustain interest with the crowd in their matches if they involved in interesting angles. I just think segments and matches should be able to intertwine and flow evenly

It was a poor night to have more matches than promos. It's a going home show, and so many WTF matches happened. Usos and We The CACs? :wtf:

They want him to be a goofy nice guy heading into the biggest match of his career, apparently :manny:
I don't get it. Him and Cena aren't friends in the storyline, Bryan already thanked him for the title opportunity and said he respected Cena weeks ago. What else is he supposed to do? Is he suppose to Kiss Cena's feet and do I'm not worthy bow to him every week until Summerslam?

He threw shots at Cena and was clearly playing mind games with him tonight but so what. Its a feud what else is supposed to happen? They had to find a way to create tension between faces somehow. And we Know Mr. Make A Wish isn't gonna change his formula to make things more interesting so Bryan had to be the more aggresive of the two.

Bryan's talking all this shyt about Cena not being a wrestler, being a parody of a wrestler, and basically saying that Cena, who is still a face (despite him acting like a corporate automaton and using the most manipulative, pandering bullshyt as the crux of his promo material), isn't deserving of his spot due to a misconceived notion of what he is. Then, he takes every little slight further than he really should, making himself look kind of ridiculous ("Are you saying the Rock is better than me?"). It's all dumb and ass-backwards. Instead of acting like a petulant child, Bryan should be proud of what he had to do to get to this point, proud of where he came from, and telling Cena that, despite fighting bigger stars than him, people that have one more titles than him, and people that got here before me, you've never faced anyone with my skill and desire. That he's totally unique, and will show Cena just how unique in Los Angeles. Instead, we get the extended version of the played-out weak link shtick combined with 7 year old promo material that everyone except CM Punk seems to use regarding Cena and his wrestling skill.

I guess it's fine that Cena acts a bit heelish, because, given his position in the WWE hierarchy (i.e., he'd be nothing more than a failed bodybuilder without the WWE machine giving him a platform to develop himself. That should be the kayfabe, at least) and the stardom that he's gained from that spot, he should be doing annoying corporate shill and retread in his promos. Maybe it gets booed, maybe it won't. Let that take its own course. But they've got Bryan all wrong, with him responding to Cena's exploitative invocation of an exploitative organization (you know the one, and no, I'm telling you why I think this again) like an a$$hole with base and disproven arguments.

It's dumb. All the feud has to it right now is heat and the charisma of Cena and Bryan, which carried the segment. The actual content is mindblowing, when you think about it.

LOL. shyt just comes out of thin air...like the whole "he said I cant wrestle" thing last week. Dude got Narcissistic Personality Disorder on the nth level:laugh: Kim K dont have shyt on him. Dude became a emotional wreck when Bryan killed him at the beginning...haha

Giant a$$hole? He's being picked on by Stephanie and Vince..Brad Maddox too..for his size. Had to wrestle a gauntlet match while Cena is just smirking and getting mad over the way he chooses to dress. How the fukk could Bryan be the heel? Got some maniacs around this place.

I just saw Raw and I damn near threw my remote across the room like I was El Pressador aftetr a COD game when HHH was arguing about who was going to be special ref for the Cena/D-Bry match... did that match needed any more fukery? Couldn't they let D-bry brat Cena straight up then let Orton cash the briefcase afterwards setting up another feud? fukk this HHH/Vince bullshyt.
