Punk/Lesnar is literally the only well built match on the SummerSlam card right now.

Another great segment, and that's exactly how Punk should've gotten the upper hand on Lesnar: with savvy and weapons. And unlike pretty much every other big match WWE does, they've left a lot for the match to accomplish as well. We've seen Punk beat him WITH weapons, but what happens when it's really man-on-man, fist-to-fist.

If I were to guess, I'd say that Punk, Heyman, and even Lesnar might have put this together themselves.
Nah..Bryan and Cena is built up correct except for too many McMahons.

Cena has been good in the buildup to this match I think - nothing too over the top and has played off D Bry well. I thought he was solid tonight especially. Can't really call Punk-Lesnar - I say Brock gets the W. I can't wait until Fandango is donezo - it was fun for awhile. But there's just not much there - I don't know how many matches he has had that have ended abruptly.

As underwhelming as a show this was, RAW had a ton of matches tonight, maybe too many. I can see why WWE wouldn't want to strict book mostly matches on the show, you tend to get matches are either uninteresting or that are pointless.

Wow the higlights from when Lesnar attacked punk, it looked like a fan jumped the barricade and Lesnar was holding him off. :laff:

They must be turning Bryan heel. It is impossibly hard to root for him right now, and it has been for months.

I really want to cheer him, but he's such a smarmy little c*nt.

All those Sheamus haters are pretty quiet even though Bryan is following the a$$hole face blueprint. :mjpls:

The problem was that the people in the matches were either pointless or irrelevant, not that booking mostly matches is a bad thing. Why in the hell is an Uso/Real Americans tag match happening on a go home RAW? Throw it on Superstars or Main Event.

Also, pacing is a big issue with WWE as well. Good pacing is more important than match/segment ratio and I didn't really think that this RAW had really good pacing throughout. Matches (Del Rio/Kofi) and Segments (Cena/Bryan) seemed to be longer than they should've been. Not to mention nonsensical shyt like the mixed tag and the divas segment. If you look at the results, it didn't seem all that bad, but actually watching it was a bit of a chore because it seemed like they tried to stretch 2 and a quarter to 2 and a half hours of material to 3 hours, and instead of using shytty segments to do it, they used wrestling. Which is good, but still off the mark.
