It starts with dating and being honest, about what you want and your goals.

Making sure you have in-depth conversations, a lot of people ask questions like when’s your birthday, what’s your favorite color, but few ask, the important questions, what’s your views on parenting, separate or joint banking, how important is religion, what do you think your/his role is in marriage, etc so a lot of nikkas find out late in the game you all aren’t compatible beyond similar interest in shows, and fukking.

Men i know struggle with am i settling or am i dragging my feet, truth is, we tend to build an expectation of women, that is unreal, too, look, if she loves your black ass, is honest, has redeeming qualities and you like being around her after you nut, that’s half the battle.

The problem with marriage is not about the partner and having children, responsibilities

It's the backlash if the marriage that doesn't work that worries men of all backgrounds - today

Also many people today still define marriage with old traditions when they are not or do not move like old traditions. Too many people today want marriage for the title and the financial security, not the emotional, children, family security that marriage is suppose to come with.

Ehh, we don't really live in a culture that's conducive to marriage especially for men. True, it's a good way to build wealth... but black people don't have much wealth to begin with (no, putting two pennies together isn't going to work). This is further demonstrated by the fact that at higher income and education levels blacks marry more often.
