Not happening. Unless shyt pops off with China (which won't happen), you guys are good. Every other foe that America could come into conflict with (think Iran) can be handled by, at worst, activating a portion of our reserve units.
We won't come into conflict with Russia because the second we start attacking them, they're probably firing off nukes because they know for a fact that they can't compete with us.
China isn't happening as well because there's too many 'if' scenarios that can spiral into a nuclear war, e.g., we put boots on the ground in mainland China or China renders a carrier inoperable, which would result in billions of dollars of losses and high-hundreds or thousands of deaths, which would then bring about 1 of 2 scenarios:
1. We launch missiles at their missile silos or try to severely cripple their navy (both of which won't fly with them).
2. We do nothing and whatever party is in charge gets crucified for it, and most likely loses the next 3-4 elections. Essentially, whatever party is in charge HAS to respond for their own good.
Therefore, the best coarse of action is to hope that China waits a decade or two until we can find another semiconductor hub... or if we do help Taiwan in case of a war, we just send them weapons and equipment.
shyt can go left reeeaaaallll quick with China.
