I mean.......you know there's more to winning a game than offense right?

The New England defense did not defeat Peyton Manning.

Peyton didn't defeat them.... can you read?

The Patriots stopped Denver's rush attack and allowed Peyton to tee off (cuz yanno, they're TERRIBLE against the pass), but he couldn't do enough to actually win. Keep being mesmerized by the stats he accumulated after falling behind 31-7 and picked apart a terrible secondary with no match for a big strong wr in Thomas.

:dwillhuh:...Brady gets the edge for handing the ball off to season high rushing numbers and time of possession numbers?? Brady passed for his least amount of yards this season in that game, and you wanna give him the edge cause his TEAM won? Get outta here! I don't understand why the TOP RATED passer in the LEAGUE on the FIRST PLACE TEAM IN HIS DIVISION somehow is underserving of MVP CONSIDERATION?? Sounds like his haters (Brady lovers) are getting worried that even after sitting on the couch for over a year, mutiple neck surgeries, playing on a new team, and playing outdoors (you know...since playing in a dome his whole career was the reason he put up those numbers) Peyton still sits atop the passer rating mountain half way thru the season. Respect his game and stop trying to find ways to convince yourself that what YOUR EYES ARE ACTUALLY SEEING isn't really true. :myman:

You guys are Peyton stans and it's embarrassing. I don't know what happened in that changeover from sites but this shyt has been said for years. As far as it being "Brady jockers" go read the Peyton's return thread, it was all love. There is no hate between the two, he's no longer on the Colts. This all started because cats said he was the FAVORITE. If that was never said, in a thread started by a Manning stan then this discussion wouldn't be happening.

peyton has 4 picks this year, and 3 of those came in 1 quarter(in a dome ironically, where the brady stans held on to this argument for dear life).

i have him barely behind rodgers.

if brady stans had it their way, tom would have the last 5 MVP's, including the season he missed.

:rudy: Cut this bullshyt out. You're cool and all, but you're a know Manning stan. No Patriots fan has ever argued for Brady to win an MVP he didn't deserve. Manning stans think he should win every year. I mean look at you, a good poster who put up this shytty of an argument. Literally the worst argument I've ever seen you make.

You keep ignoring the common sense of what Blazo and I said. When else is the MVP frontRUNNER not the undefeated guy if he's putting up good numbers like Matt Ryan? When? That's the point, cats are bringing up all this shyt like (well he came off injury and all that other irrelevant stuff...this is just about perfomrance) to try to add to his argument. Peyton is a legend, I defend this guy ALL the time.

The Patriots defense is atrocious, and the Broncos had a slow start. However, the fukk ups of other guys is more responsible for why they lost than Peyton. But that's just the point, you have guys like Jplaya in here saying the fact that the Patriots lost 3 teams should be counted against Brady when he has led the highest scoring offense in the league, but won't hold 3 losses against Peyton.

Including a 3 INT performance.

NEW ERA
We also need to take into account that many of those Manning TD's were got when his team was down big and the opposing team went in soft defenses the rest of the game. The texans, chargers, and patriots games come to mind specifically

Did he? Or did he catch that L?

Oh wait, it's not his fault, he only gets credit for wins :stopitslime:

You're making legit Brady/Pats fans look bad. 337 yds, 70% passing, 3 tds...he did his job. His team had 3 to's (none on him) and gave up 200 yds rushing and a 100 yd receiving game. Stats, W's, and L's all take place within context. Next time at least pretend you watched the game and stop spewing nonsense.

my main problem is people acting like he didn't deserve the ones he got already.

shyt is ridiculous.

Matty is definitely the favorite for this year though. I'm not sure what's worse, people completely ignoring Matt Ryan or trying to say Peyton didn't deserve his MVPs.

2.Ryan
3.Brady

Brady and Rodgers both had a win taken away from them by the replacement refs, people need to take that into account.

As usual it ain't his fault. He did his job falling behind 31-7

Ol' "but he looked good in failure" as nicca

Denver took another approach to stopping NE: Try to stop the Hall of Fame QB and let the unproven RBs try to beat them.... what was Brady supposed to throw anyways to appease you? :heh:

Those were back breaking turnovers too. Both times they were on their way to scores.

I can't take you serious anymore. Does Peyton deserve the MVP? Maybe not. Does he deserve to be on the short list for consideration? Of course. 'Nuff said. You Brady fans are so insecure about Brady's standing in terms of his placing in history with Peyton that you've decided the leagues top rated passer doesn't deserve consideration. Everybody on the short list has multiple losses except Ryan. Yet you wanna hold a loss that Peyton was clearly the best QB on the field against him. Your posts reek of desperation. Brady is hanging in the 3 loss club with the easiest schedule this year while Peyton has the same amount of losses with the hardest....you know...since you like to transpose team success with personal performances....clown!

You can't take me seriously yet your homotional ass keeps arguing a point I didn't make. :heh:

I've stated my candidates for MVP thus far several times in this thread and your dumbass is STILL tryna act like I'm saying Peyton doesn't belong in the conversation. Priceless.

:russ:...and that's what happens when you came in with your cape on with your..."yeah he's cool...but Brady gets the nod cause he won the head to head" crap. That's the point I started throwing attention your way cause you needed a little guidance. Propping up a QB with the same amount of losses and ranked numerous spots below Peyton all because Ridley got busy and his team kept putting the ball on the carpet is weak and insecure. So keep with the cussing and homo references...still doesn't change the fact you went down the wrong road in trying to discredit Peyton and appease that "Stanley" vibe you harbor for Brady.
