Who the hell said he was more deserving than anyone else? :wtf:

The point that was made(and still hasn't been refuted) is that he's been as deserving as anybody else. He's deserved every one of the ones that he got so far.

only people who are riding so hard against him are the Brady/Pats stans.

but but he's already won some....fukk outta here :rudy:

How about the fact that hes lost to every over .500 team hes played against aside from a Pitt team without its 2 stars on D... :russ: @ giving MVP to a bottom feeder

The H
Peyton has a pretty good chance at winning it. The media loves his story of coming off the injuries and if he can win 11-12 games I'm sure he'll win it. I think unless he clearly is ahead of the pack I want someone else to win it. If J.J. Watt continues his superstar play I would like him to win. Would be good for the league, and maybe sway away from this QB dikk riding league

Chargers were 3-2 when they played. Besides you can say the same thing about the Pats since they have only beaten one team with a winning record once and that was the Jets :beli:

Broncos weren't over .500 when they played.

edit: oh my bad, Jets weren't over .500 either. So yeah fukk outta here.

:russ: @ downplaying the Broncos victory at the same time as you try to trump up the Broncos QB.

Brady and Manning are neck and neck, edge to Brady, cuz, yanno, he won head to head.

It's all moot, cuz clearly Rodgers and Ryan have the strongest cases....unless they forcefeed Peyton. :shaq2:

:wtb: If were gon play that game (calling a glorified punt returner who took a few snaps until Jennings got hurt a star) Demaryius Thomas was a 1st round pick and had much greater expactations.

Which is a testament to that defense... The same defense that allowed the Broncos to come back from 21+ against San Diego and almost against Atlanta... While last years team was 8-8 this year's team is only 1 game over .500 and has only beaten 1 team witha record over .500... Lets Keep things in perspective
You mean that defense that was 20th in yards allowed and 24th in points allowed? :skip:

And Atlanta has only played one team with a record over .500
NE has only beat one team with a record over .500

Just keeping things in perspective :youngsabo:

The argument was in comparison to Rodgers, but nice logic using the record when they played each other as opposed to overall:pachaha:
Does that make their win over Tennesee a .500 team (0-0) :pachaha:

And Atlanta has only played one team with a record over .500

Doesnt matter there undefeated... Can only play whos thrown in front of them

NE has only beat one team with a record over .500

Lost 3 games by a total of 4 points (1 controversially)... Was not down 21 3 times already this year, a stat certainly used as an evaluation tool in determining an MVP

What were u saying about Perspective :lolbron:

What's untrue about it? You talking out both sides off your mouth.

Meaning that I'm not trying to downplay the Broncos win, but the guy I quoted said that Broncos haven't beaten one team with a winning record. I just pointed out that until yesterday, the Pats hadn't either and that was because the Broncos had just gotten to over .500.

When you put it into context and realize he's done it against the toughest schedule thus far then you can see why his stats hold a little more weight.

:shaq2:

Peyton hasn't seen a single elite passing defense. Don't say the Steelers.

Rodgers against Houston >>>

But his performance has still been remarkable he's probably rated top 3 or 4 in DYAR and DVOA (both of which are more about a QB's value).

I'm not saying he's playing bad, all i'm saying is compared to last year his numbers are down, and he already has 3 l's

So we're counting that Seattle nonsense? :usure:

I mean, I see the point :manny:

But I don't get how last year's performance is relevant in an MVP discussion for THIS year.
