Id say the door is wide open for anyone, whoever has the best second half will probably get it.

Rodgers numbers have regressed? Dude is killing it this season. :dwillhuh:

His numbers have regressed, he's on pace to throw for about 300 less yds and 4 less TD's than last year, and his rating is down 15 points

It's either Matt Ryan, Eli, or Peyton. If JJ gets on a sack tear, he could enter the conversation.

NEW ERA
The prospects

Matt Ryan: 17 TD's, 6 INT's, 103 QB rating, 7-0 team record
Aaron Rodgers: 21 TD's, 4 INT's, 107.9 QB rating, 5-3 team record
Ben 'berger: 14 TD's, 3 INT's, 101.4 QB rating, 4-3 team record
Seyton Manning: 17 TD's, 4 INT's, 109 QB rating, 4-3 team record
Tom Brady: 16 TD's, 3 INT's, 100.6 QB rating, 5-3 team record
Eli Manning: 12 TD's, 8 INT's, 89.1 QB rating, 6-2 team record

now Seyton fans, tell me why he's more deserving than some of these other QB's :aicmon:

this is the premise. if other QB's are having comparable years, they'll just give it to Peyton. it always takes an unworldly season performance just to win it from this guy. the media crowns Peyton the MVP since week 1. it's like the season is just played just to see who can pry it from him

forcefeed him the MVP over and over

the top candidates imo:

1. Matt Ryan (he won't ever win it tho. has the only undefeated team in the league and no one gives a fukk. shyt is crazy)
2a. Aaron Rodgers
2b. Tom Brady
3. Peyton Manning

also, SEC Hater is an idiot.

Then they're going to tell us

"It's not about the stats"

When they've been preaching stats as the reason him>other QB's for over ten years:pachaha:

When you put it into context and realize he's done it against the toughest schedule thus far then you can see why his stats hold a little more weight.

Who the hell said he was more deserving than anyone else? :wtf:

The point that was made(and still hasn't been refuted) is that he's been as deserving as anybody else. He's deserved every one of the ones that he got so far.

only people who are riding so hard against him are the Brady/Pats stans.

but but he's already won some....fukk outta here :rudy:

:what: a two time 1st team All SEC player and a 1st team all NCAA player and a 2nd round draft pick. Are you fukking serious??

:wtb: If were gon play that game (calling a glorified punt returner who took a few snaps until Jennings got hurt a star) Demaryius Thomas was a 1st round pick and had much greater expactations.

:mindblown: @ acting like this same core didnt win only 8 games, 6 of which by 3 points or less, and trip and fall backwards into the playoffs thanks to Oakland losing 4 of its last 5 games :rudy:

Which is a testament to that defense... The same defense that allowed the Broncos to come back from 21+ against San Diego and almost against Atlanta... While last years team was 8-8 this year's team is only 1 game over .500 and has only beaten 1 team witha record over .500... Lets Keep things in perspective
