Tom Brady is the MVP

105. Rating, 65%,3299 yards, 24 TDs to 3 INTs(over 7-1 Ratio and 2 picks were against Seattle)

Best record of all the MVP Canidates, with the worst defense, anchoring far and away the best offense in the league. And that's with tons of injuries

The Colts and the Broncos have the exact same record. Manning has more touchdowns, a better completion percentage, just as many yards and a nearly identical QB rating. With worse surrounding talent.

The reason the Pats are far and away the best offense is because they have a the #6 rushing attack to go with the pass game (something Brady has 0 to do with). If you look at pure passing offenses there are multiple that outrank the Patriots based on yardage or touchdowns.

Brady has more total touchdowns than Manning. In addition to 24 TD's passing, he has 3 TD's rushing

Less interceptions, has leapfrogged him in passer rating, and is leading the more dominant team

Manning just barely pulled out a win against the 1-9 Chiefs

Brady is MVP

Remember on SOHH when you swore up and down the Broncos wouldn't even make the playoffs this year? :pacspit:

I know I sound like a Brady lover but truth be told....He is playing better than Manning this season so far....I dont care about the whole 'Manning is coming off injury, he has a whole new team' MVP is based on your performance regardless and Brady is playing better at the moment, Manning still throwing picks each week and he has a nice defense to bail the Offense out at times.

Manning is playing better than I expected this season but he isnt out performing Brady at all.

And established history suggests that story things DO matter. It's an award that's decided by the media. It's part of the criteria whether you like it or not.
nope. Storylines don't matter

And this wouldn't make any sense. QB is obviously the most important position on an nfl football team, so it follows that the majority of the MVP winners would also be quarterbacks.
Nope. I don't agree with this but I don't really want to argue this again here
Speaking of 2008 remember when Manning won the MVP despite a) not having the best record Indy was a #5 seed and b) not having the best stats. Partially because he was coming off a knee surgery.:ohhh:
It wasn't because of surgery. It was because among comparable qbs in running for the MVP his team had the best record. Only one team had a better record than colts and that was the titans
