Eric Decker and Demaryius Thomas a far from bums. remember Thomas was a first round pick, so the talent with him is definitely there. he was supposed to be the next big thing leaving GT after Calvin Johnson. and Eric Decker looking like a young Ed McCaffrey out there. very good player in his own right

u point out the altitude thing as if its a detriment or a handicap. u do realize the altitude allows for easier passing right?

his neck injury should have no bearing behind why he should win the award. great story, but its not fair to brady or rodgers who are having similar seasons. all 3 have 7-3 records, rodgers is the best statistically, and rodgers and brady have played better competition. oh yeah, and brady far outplayed manning in the head to head
It's not fair to Peyton that he got cut by his own team either and had to start from scratch with a new team at this point in his career. You have to take into account everything when deciding the MVP, not just stats. If that was the case, then just give it to the QB with the highest qbr at the end of the season and call it a day.

boo fukkin hoo..its the nfl. joe montana was traded to the fukkin chiefs. and joe montana had 3 more rings than peyton.

so what ? and, nfl awards, just like most awards, are historically based on certain criteria voters tend to follow

McGahee is out for what looks like the rest of the regular season so the Broncos we'll see what happens from here.

Some other scrub RB will become a star. Might be better this way for the Broncos, McGahee was a turnover waiting to happen

No you don't. The MVP is a 2012 Regular season award. It's based solely on player performances in the 2012 regular season.

Only the comeback player of the year award looks back to last year. Not OROY, DROY, OPOY, DPOY, and certainly not MVP.....unless you're doing some romanticization:mjpls:

Peyton fanboys are such silly people. before this weekend, Peyton was the rightful MVP because he led the league in passer rating. now he doesn't lead it anymore so his neck issue is introduced into his MVP argument, while passer rating should be thrown in the bushes :russ:

pathetic bunch imo :ehh:

but it gets funnier

in 2009 a certain old ass qb posted arguably his most efficient year ever. after being hurt and ineffective in 2008
this qb had 33tds and 7 ints, and his team went on all the way to nfc championship

yet...this qb wasnt even in mvp considerations, and peyton won the award easily, even though drew brees and that old ass qb had better stats

that old ass qb is brett favre. and peyton won the mvp because of his teams record. none of the comeback/injury bullshyt mattered. it still doesnt but peyton stans wanna rewrite unwritten rules now :childplease:
