NEW ERA
:childplease:

Broncos opponents thus far are a combined 59-61 through week 12 (the Panthers play tonight)
Patriot opponents thus far are a combined 58-62-1 through

Stop acting like the Broncos had a much tougher schedule.

Plus, looking at the rest of the season:

Broncos remaining opponents are 22-33 through week 12
Patriots remaining opponents are 30-24-1 through week 12

There's a lot of football left to be played, but strength of schedule cant be used to hand it to Peyton....you'd be better off sticking to that ridiculous injured neck point I've heard y'all use..:leon:
:ohhh:

:dead:

shytting on one "Seyton for MVP" argument one at a time :jawalrus:

TB12 for MVP :stylin:

ur only +5 hunna team u beat is the Steelers (week 1), and Bengals

Pats: Bronchoes (Seyton led team), Colts ("terrible team that Seyton left")

:ld:

Colts don't count, them nikkas is garbage. Damn, Brady has the best O-Line and one of the top rushing attacks in the league and a weak ass schedule. This nikka is the king of having shyt gift wrapped for him.:heh:

nope. Storylines don't matter

Nope. I don't agree with this but I don't really want to argue this again here

It wasn't because of surgery. It was because among comparable qbs in running for the MVP his team had the best record. Only one team had a better record than colts and that was the titans

I didn't say it was fully cause of the surgery. But if you don't think him having knee surgery prior to the season, missing some preseason / training camp then coming out strong had a positive impact on him winning the award then you're just ignorant to what happened. It wasn't the reason, but it was part of it.

And if you don't think that the storyline of him missing all of last year, having multiple neck surgeries and completely switching teams will have a positive impact on his chances this year...you're ignorant to what will happen.

we moving on to December? in Denver snow? add another 5-6 INT's to Peyton's stats :mjpls:

Oh yea by the way. LOL at Manning shytting on everyone who used to criticize him for being a dome QB and acting like it was some sort of huge advantage for him. Then he goes to Denver and does the same thing.

again you have no facts to back up anything you're saying

the criteria has been the same for the last 5-10 years (not counting LT and Alexander)-take top 3 or so qbs stat-wise, take one with the best record, unless one qb stood out completely above the rest

if voters vote otherwise at the end of this season it won't be in line with what established criteria has been

I love Brady, but that's an often overlooked aspect of his performance. He has ALL DAY to throw in the pocket. Gotta have the most time in the league to sit back there patting the ball, looking over the field.

You don't have any facts to back up what you're saying. There is no established list of criteria. It's subjectively awarded. If you're counting on a bunch of media members to completely disregard that Manning is coming off surgery, and not let that impact their voting at all...you're gonna be severely disappointed. And I'm not arguing that it should help his cause, just being realistic that it will.

2008 Manning was not one of the top 3 QBs in terms of yardarge or TDs. Of course you'll come back and say but...but.. I said top 3 QBs or so! 2003 When Manning split it with McNair, Manning had 1000 more yards, 5 more touchdowns. But you said 5-10 years so we can conveintly ignore that too. You're out here trying to tell me the criteria and can't even come up with a concrete set list. Yours has exceptions, and "or so"s.

You cannot use that O-line argument when 1 sack separates Brady and Manning this year.

15 to 16. Furthermore, that Broncos O-line was good enough for slow ass read and release Tebow last year. Stop it. The Patriots offensive line has been missing two starters for most of the year. They've been plugging in back ups and getting it done (best O-line coach in the business), but the idea that Brady has the best O-line year after year when Brees and Manning consistently had better O-lines is ridiculous. There's no big difference between the O-lines of most of the winningest teams in the league. Besides, look how fast Brady gets the ball out, it's a lot easier to look good when you only have to block for about 2 seconds on average.

But most of all, people don't blitz Brady. So it's basically, is your front 4 going to beat the Patriots O-line and the RB in the back field with Brady and GRONK who is blocking before he goes out to his route half the time. People forget that the Pats stay coming out with two tight ends.

I'm not knocking him or using it to prop up anyone else. I just think he has more time to throw than anyone else in the league. :yeshrug:

All great quarterbacks get rid of the ball quickly and make their o-lines look better in pass blocking than they really are. I think the Pats o-line is legitimately dominant though (except when they play the Giants :steviej: ).

I don't think anyone can complain about who ends up winning the MVP between Brady and Manning (Peterson too, if Minnesota somehow sneaks into the playoffs). Both are having incredible seasons.

these 2 are the MVP front runners a this point in time.

Brady is mr consistent as always, and Manning coming off 4 neck surgeries looks like 2009 Manning again.
