That is not what he is saying. I've watched him post for years. This is another of his scenarios that he creates. He just said that "he doesn't make up the rules" but this is how it will go. We all admitted that their is media bias, but he is stating his interpretation as if that's the actual criteria of how these things are determined. Even with all the bias that goes in Manning's favor, no one has ever said "you had a better year last year" when determining NFL MVP. The first time I ever saw that garbage used was when Nash won his second NBA mvp.

Fair enough, I just saw one or two post and thought that was what he was implying. Still think manning has the advantage because of his comeback story. But the rest of the stuff you just stated I would agree with you. If I had to wager though right now I would say Manning is in the lead

Peyton's chances just keep getting better and better with each passing week. Really tho all these guys numbers are so close its VERY difficult to choose 1. I'd make the case there needs to be both a co-MVP and co-comeback POY (both Manning and AD, although if I had to pick one it would be Peyton, ppl come back from ACL injuries all the time. Manning on the other hand had a neck injury that ppl speculated he would NEVER comeback from, his team cut him and now he's on a totally new squad, the Broncos barely won their division last season with :skip: at the helm and now they about to run away with the shyt and will make noise in the 'offs)

lol which goes back to my original point. unless someone else has an unreal season like Rodgers' season last year, Brady 2007, LT 2006, the media and mindless fans will just forcefeed the mvp to Manning, even though their are comparable seasons by other people.[

Forcefeeding?

2003- he got it with McNair. Manning had 1000 more yards and 5 more TDs and a 4.5% advantage in completion percentage. Plus Indy won the division
2004- one of the best seasons ever
2008- missed training camp due to knee surgery Indy had the 31st ranked run game and the O-line continued its decline. One of the worst special teams units as well. Also beat the Chargers head to head and won 4 more games.
2009- new head coach(where is he at now?), no more Marvin Harrison, worst run game in the league(Saints were 6th). Mediocre at best o-line and defense(Saints weren't good on D either but their o-line was much better). Two rookies asked to step in and make significant contributions and went 14-0 while making multiple comebacks. Comparable numbers to Brees even though the Colts were a far worse team offensively. Had the best record in the NFL.

Now if you ask me, Rivers and Brees had as much of a right to the MVP as he did those last two years(Rivers more so than Brees), but forcefeeding is implying that he didn't deserve them at all which can't be said unless you got hate in your blood.

If his name was Tim Tebow there wouldn't be any argument and he would've been had it on lock

Miss a year with a fukked up neck. Go to a different team with bum ass wide receivers in the craziest altitude in the NFL. Have those Wide Receivers now looking like damn near Pro Bowlers. In the top 5 in the League in almost every statistical category and barely behind Rogers in QBR. 7-3 record through 10 games, riding a 5 game winning streak. All this done without having much of any offseason with this team or knowing if his neck would hold up.

What does his neck injury have to do with the MVP award? :mindblown:

As usual, people are romanticizing Peyton's performance. He's having a hell of a year, def in the running. I'll wait til the season ends before getting in any deep debates over who deserves it. There's still ample time for guys to separate themselves (either by ascending or faltering)

There isn't a more valuable player to their team than Peyton Manning dude. Patriots nor the Packers would go 1-15 if they lost Brady or Rogers.

Neither would the Broncos :thiswork:. shyt with their defenses, there's a better argument that the Patriots and Packers would be worse off without Brady and Rodgers. The Broncos won the division last year with the worst starting QB in the league.
