Finished Cowboy Bebop: The Movie(115 minutes)
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is set between episodes 22 and 23 of the original series. The plot centers on a mysterious terrorist planning to destroy the human population on Mars using an unknown pathogen. The bounty hunter crew of the spaceship Bebop work to find the terrorist and discover the source of the pathogen before the attack can take place.
I finished the series years ago but never watched the movie, I'm glad I was able to now. It retains all the elements fans of the original series love. The music, the action, the characters, the fight scenes, the dialogue and of course the fun. Plenty of character interaction with Spike, Faye, Jet and Ed. It's action packed and the dialogue remains snappy and sharp. I still appreciate how good the universe still looks as well as the character designs and sets.

The new characters introduced are used well and fall right in line with the mood of the series. They don't feel out of place and serve their purpose well. I liked the villain in the movie too, he fit in well with the tone. If you've seen the series I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. It felt good getting back into the Bebop universe and seeing the characters again. Cowboy Bebop remains a classic series and the movie is a worthwhile companion piece to it, check it out if you haven't already. Obviously recommended.

If you like the show it's impossible not to like the movie.

It's basically one long episode.
