Halfway through second assault and its very good, ep 6 in particular was a masterpiece.

Okay episode 9 was the best of this whole series. Insane amount of character development for chidori and sousuke in this arc.

Mind is blown at how good the writing is right now.

Counting Gintama as one series, FMP the Second Raid just became my 4th 10/10

I'm not a big mecha person so there aren't a lot of series I can really compare this to directly, but with the 3 seasons of FMP being roughly (exactly I think) equal in length to the 2 seasons of Code Geass, I confidently feel that FMP blows Code Geass out of the water.
