With this was an interesting reveal. Tho it sounds pretty nasty.
Touka is def up to something.
For episode 3 we got the Touka reveal as the White Mage was interesting since she stole the Water Dragon's power.
On episode 4, did not expect the twist of Touka and the white mage being a split personality

I'm SOOOOO happy we're getting right back into this world. Apothecary Diaries and Orb are two anime that came out of nowhere for me. I hope they both have the success they deserve and keep feeding their fanbases!

Watching Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest Episode 5
They did a good job at building the relationship she had with the Water God Dragon. In a way, you can empathize why she did it. Granted, who she went to for help wasn't a good one.
White Mage essentially doesn't take away, but dials how much power you have. Obviously, more of a problem for the Water God Dragon, since he couldn't control his power.

It's difficult to make out Lawrence because one issue is that his orders come from Gerald and not Faris. It's difficult to trust him. Although the fact that his sister is held hostage, at least you can empathize with them. But Lawrence, Camilla and Sieg all armed in case of betrayal.
I did not see Elynsia betraying Hadis and Jill. Though the way Jill went to her, I just have this feeling that Jill is keeping another secret. Though for Hadis seeing that Listeard didn't betray meant a lot because there was still someone, he, can see that didn't betray him. Honestly, he would have killed Elynsia if Listeard also betrayed him. George really went off and threw Jill off.
Also, that whole post credit sequence with the Teddy Bear was insane.

Beautiful episode before entering the final battle for the last 2 episodes to wrap up the series 
So despite many things getting resolved last week, there is one big issue and that is Senya continues to try to run away in an act to protect the others. Of course, Tsukiko has every right to be upset. They have grown up together, and she wants to be by his side forever. The fear of turning to a monster is understandable, but he has to understand there are people here that love him.
Surprisingly, the talk with Takeru went pretty quick. Despite how he acts, they need to save him soon. More so, back to the focus on Senya and him fighting his problem in the spirit world didn't help him. Very much of the issue is that he views himself as a monster. Tsukiko and the others are the light, and he views himself won't be worthy of being by their side. It is understandable that Senya still feels guilty about the death of Tsukiko's father. Though, her words to take responsibility is something he needed to look at. Losing her father is hard, but why don't you do him the honor of protecting his daughter. Tsukiko and Senya admitting their feelings was really sweet as well.
The key for Senya was that there is love inside of Senya. All those that passed on, but they will always be with him and given him the courage to move forward. The final piece is saving the Yamato brothers. Where we got Tsukiko to be able to make the fight and conditions manageable. Shinsuke, Shakuyaku and Tama will find and rescue Takeru. Senya will fight Jinka and, to put it blunt it might be his hardest challenge as he doesn't have Mudo here. Excited about how the series finishes.

Ignia's introduction comes as a way to power up Natsu as him beating the Water Dragon would be a leap. Still, the true son of Igneel vs the one he raised offers a more fitting final boss path. Still, the difference between the two couldn't be more different. Ignia holds no love for his father and clearly only cares about getting stronger. While for Natsu that is the opposite.
Fairy Tail lives and dies by the power of friendship. The conclusion of this fight showed the good and bad of it. As noted of Ignia's personality, that carries over to Natsu when he eats it. He gained great strength, but he lost himself. Lucy's line of being afraid of Natsu's flames exemplify that. It's classic Fairy Tail, but done the right way.
The issue is the stakes of this fight needed the Water Dragon to be killed, since that is why the fight had to happen. Touka has a lock on the Water Dragon's power, but for him to live and force a happy ending is the classic there can be no stakes in Fairy Tail.
