DanMachi Season 5: Goddess of Fertility Arc - Episode 10

Feels very fitting that Bell wants to meet the true Freya. Not the Freya who acts tough, but clearly the part of Syr that he interacted with him has to be the true Freya. Though, the Guild not letting the Loki Family participate and Freya blocking Bell from training with Aiz is aggravating with everything Freya has done. Still, getting Finn to train Lili is a huge plus given how well regarded he is as a strategist, and really we can see the growth of Lili in the war game.

Though, if we recall from the past, Bell needed time to adjust to his level. So even training with Hiryute sisters is a big help. Still, I imagine he still needs to get a handle on his level. Hopefully, JC Staff executes this war game well.

Was not expecting Jiji to be an annoying himbo that gets by on his looks and praising women :russ: :russ:

Ep. 11 felt incredibly short, really wondering if there's a good cutoff point for ep 12. before they take a break to prepare for the 2nd cour in 6 more months.

So this adapted chapters 28-30. Fantastic episode as it delivered on the comedy, animation and romance very well.

Jiji has been adapted perfectly, and his character is one that really thrives in the anime medium. Also in the anime it really details Okarun's notebook, which I love. It shows all the supernaturals they dealt with, which is his connection to Momo. But also his romance side and his fear regarding that.

God that chase scene was fukking perfect. :banderas: That is how you animate a chase scene. Then Taro as Sugita is perfect casting.

Though they really nailed the end with Taro searching to find Hana. It's a bit goofy, but in very Dandadan style, it parallels with Okarun and Momo's friendship+romance so well. They nailed adapting this part as well.

We got Jiji's introduction. He makes for an interesting contrast between Okarun and Aira. He has no filter and is true to himself, while Okarun has confidence issues at times. Similar to Aira he is seen as the opposing love interest, but unlike Aira who is very much seriously aggressive. You can feel with Jiji that he is messing around. Since the scene where he apologized to Momo he felt very sincere.

Though when Momo went to find Okarun she did feel annoyed when Jiji showed up. Granted, living with him prob adds up. Jiji had good intentions protecting Momo, but he isn't quite aware what has changed for Momo since he last saw her. Really got to say the chase scene was animated extremely well and man Taro was entertaining.

The end between Taro and Hana draws a nice parallel between Momo and Okarun. Each relationship has them feeling like they live in different worlds. Momo is a gyaru and Okarun is a book nerd. Undoubtedly, she, Okarun has been enjoying his life so much more since him and Momo became friends.

There really isn't a great ending spot. I am actually curious where it cuts off as a manga reader. Although it could be like SLF where they care more about keeping the pacing consistent since the new season may come pretty soon then the typical S2.

Also worth pointing out S1 was finished before it started airing, so they been working on S2 already.

You going to be in for a ride with the manga. This series is like Freiren & Monogatari in terms of the adaptation quality. shyt is so good that the anime feels like a new experience :wow:

I think I posted that leak awhile back. It prob won't be official until the final episode drops, but it's like the worst kept secret that S2 is coming out in Summer.

So Netflix Japan is again having english subs early.

One of the better episodes so far, and the visuals look pretty as always, but this episode highlights that with the fireworks. Karen's introduction gave great insight on what Natsu thinks of Taiki. Which is something the anime has been needing.

Man Mecha-Ude has been a fun show. It is nothing that hasn't been done before, but how they execute it is really enjoyable. Plus these two designs for the final battle gonna be nice since animation has been pretty good + consistent so far :blessed:
