I love how Grimmjow was making his big edgy speech Nel comes in and interrupts him. Really cool to see Nel in her adult form because in the OG anime I felt as an ally she def was underutilized. They really brought the tsun energy by bringing back both Grimmjow & Riruka. Though Grimmjow can't admit he is on the same side he is only doing so he can kill him later.

The plan, despite feeling very long-winded was actually pretty simple. Essentially using the Valley of the Souls rather than Garganta since Reishi isn't stable there. The cool part is combining Riruka and Yukio's abilities.

Though the plan doesn't go as expected and now essentially we have the Quinces on the defense here. It feels naturally for even Quinces to be intimated by Yhwach's appearance. The big thing here in that Yhwach has manipulated Reishi that goes in his favor, and obviously Yhwach has so much confidence he is showing off where you have to come meet me. Most of this episode was set up, but the action should be heating up next episode.

Loved the fight between Machina & Marcus. She went full out and honestly, if Marcus wasn't a giant cheat she would have been able to deal with it. Still, it makes me wonder—why has he waited all of this time to get her? The only thing that makes sense is that he was waiting for Veltol to reawaken.

Veltol continues to impress as a protagonist. He has his pride, yes, but there are things that are more important than that. Machina literally dedicated her soul to him until Veltol reawakened. Curious if he never thought this would be a legit possibility, but I love how he is taking the right actions. Also respecting Gram in that he would never help him if it wasn't for the greater good. He will need to figure out how to help the city once they save Machina.

I loved the conversation of dungeons between Gram and Veltol. I love the personality that Veltol has because Demon Lords, as we know, create the dungeons and put great pride in them. Adventurers make their name conquering these said dungeons. Obviously, within their argument they realized it wasn't the time and place for this debate. But it was nice to showcase the personality of Veltol and also mention that Gram started out as an adventurer.

Fantastic episode. I love how the contrast between Badeni & Oczy. For Badeni is a very proud man, but also he wants all the credit. Which is interesting when we compare it to the situation Jolenta was in at the end of the episode. He wants to both finish and release it.

Meanwhile, for Oczy even as he moves forward even with just 10% of the profit they find a note from what should be Rafal. Of course Badeni knows that this information was only noticed from the particular note. Hey why do I care about this note from whenever it was put here? For Oczy though he is a man who can be seen as having a guilty conscience. After all more than likely this person left that note is very likely the same that gave them the foundation of what was in the box.

Jolenta is a talented young woman, but she lives in a time when being a woman goes against you. If something is written by a woman rather than a man, it loses credibility. Obviously, Kolbe is an a$$hole for taking Jolenta's work and crediting him. He has an argument because Jolenta would take a massive risk if her name was on it. Would they even read it?

The best part of the episode was when Count Piast overheard their argument. We got a situation just like Rafal at the beginning of the season. Jolenta can take a massive risk by sticking to her guns. It would be too predictable if she did the same because she barely dented her name in the series so far. She follows both Kolbe and her father's advice and not take an unnecessary risk. Though her curiosity brings her to meet both Badeni & Oczy, and I am excited about where the next episode takes us.

Ranma 1/2 Episode 6

One thing that this episode subtly showed was that both Ranma and Akane both have the honor to help those in need. Ranma stepped in and defended the mummy girls since Kodachi was just going for overkill at that point. Obviously, Akane couldn't turn down a request in need.

hYzrYJT.png

Though Kodachi is so many levels beyond insanity. The girl brought a hammer and literally trashed Akane's room. :deadrose: She is never going to have it easy. I felt so bad for Ranma when she fell for him. With his stance of defending/fighting against woman his only defense to say he is engaged to Akane. You know I shouldn't be surprised that Kodachi & Tatewaki are related. Their desires to go after whom they fell in love with knows no bounds.

Man a little upsetting that Akane got hurt, but now we should be getting Ranma competing in his female form. Should make for a fun episode next week.

Blue Lock story is interesting, but I haven't felt disappointed in animation in a long time. I will continue to watch and hope it improves. It's weird because it's fine when they're not playing soccer, but once in match it goes downhill.

Just came back from watch Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom movie.I would rate this film 7/10. I had fun with it, but definitely not the best way to experience this arc.

I had fun in this one. Did feel bad for Neia at times, but was happy Ainz went back to her after Remedios bailed on him. They did a good job making her absolutely unlikable. Maybe they went a little too hard in that way? That scene when she realizes what has become of Calca. Even more so I am shocked they cast Saori Hayami as Calca.

CZ stole the show for me. Her chemistry with Neia was fantastic to me. You can kind of feel the bond between these two grow. I do hope they can interact and fight with each other again. I love how she just takes things as it goes. Her post credit scene with Ainz was both funny and wholesome at the same.

Now pacing of this film felt slow and fast at times. I don't mind the slow moments, but this arc would have been a better experience over the course of a season rather than a film. Though it did look the best that Overlord has looked. While everything went the way, we expected from this story, which has been the pure usual, I liked seeing how Neia's blind loyalty to Ainz grew stronger and stronger.

Though the one thing I wonder was that really Caspond Bessarez? There was a shot towards the end at his face that seemed odd to me.

We like watching anime with animation

The way Blue Lock is now it's like a colored manga with voice acting and music.

SLF S2 Episode 5 adapted chapters 68-70. Really adapted these chapters well. Also, the episode getting the fight in one episode shows how well planned the anime is.

Really amazing episode. They adapted the Golden Scorpion fight so well. It was fantastic from start to finish. :wow: :banderas:

it’s not that bad to me!!!

I still enjoy it cuz of the story and characters though

With the lack of discussion in here I feel betrayed. Cuz before when I wasn’t watching niccad bullied me into watching and acting like I was doing something wrong not watching it.

Now I’m all in but yall abandoned it.
