Ya breh got it rough how was the training portrayed in the anime cuz in the book shyt is horrendously painful and there is more to show how even worse it gets
More fukkery coming up with peak fukkery toward the end of the season if they adapting vol 18
Essentially, the episode showcased how one day is for Bell as a member of the Freya Family. The training scenes were fine to me. There ain't much I think they can do to help those. But JFC every time Freya is on screen it is so well executed, especially with how uncomfortable and messed up it is for Bell and this episode Eina.

This arc had its issues with how it was storytelling and the big amount of exposition, but it ended off decently. I am happy Aki was able to realize Fubuki was being controlled before Hikaru came, even if against her sister she is powerless. Curious but we learned that Ouroboros is a copy of Amaryllis as a worm type. Which makes sense Aki thought Jun was responsible for what happened to her family.

Hikaru beat Amaryllis, but we have even more questions. Why was it Alma's fault that Yakumo died? Currently, we have Arms & Kagami group as the big two powers. Arms clearly is not a caring association of its members as not telling Aki of the Fubuki situation came back to bite them. Kagami group likes to enslave the Mecha-Ude and given the post credit scene, there just might be the 3rd faction as well.

We are halfway through, which is fine, but we keep getting more questions. So lets see how it's paced going forward.

Really good Sano episode. It's funny hearing Sano's reason from Anji his desire for power is just to be stronger. Sano isn't someone who is gonna list why he needs to be stronger like the average Shounen protagonist. Listen, I just want to get stronger, plain and simple. He has his reasons, which we know tie him to Kenshin.

Of course, it is interesting to learn that a rematch between Sano & Anji should be in the cards. Since he is among the 10 Swords that Shishio will use to get Kenshin's skills back to his liking. You know seeing Sano on the brink of insanity was well done and especially seeing Captain Sagara's ghost telling him enough is enough. Kenshin is the 2nd most important person in his life only behind Sagara, so he wasn't giving up. Kenshin & Sano's friendship is one you don't see too much in shounen, but it is really cool to see. Kenshin got Sano back on the right track and Sano owes it to him when he needs help.

Kind of funny how Sano was in Shimosuwa and this kind of like was a big building point for him. Anji mentioning how he grew in a week. It's something you might not notice it unless you say Sano in a day-to-day manner like Anji had. Most likely, instead of being in a rushed to get things done, he let the things come to him in an appropriate manner.

When it’s done I’ll see how they did but shyt was hella brutal I know they still may show that side tho if so you’ll see what I’m talking bout if not that’s fine but hope they do cuz it shows comparison between this training and when he fell on lower floors and he rather be at lower floors than train with them he said

If they had any sense they would make an Sano spin off on his journey outside of Japan. He's one of my favorite Shonen characters.

Finished watching Beastars S2 and this felt very much like watching the second part of S1. It built upon all the aspects of S1 and IMO executed it better. I feel like part of it was that Haru role felt more as motivation for Legoshi since her dynamic with him is very awkward. Compared to Louis where they barely saw each other in S2 you can tell their bond and friendship is tight. Would give S2 an 8.5/10.

I really liked the scene when Legoshi as he prepares for his fight with Riz and is hesitant to eat an insect. Eating an insect here in this society feels closer to in human society what eating meat would be. It has a lesson for Legoshi it is the survival of the fittest. Respect for life is the key. Which is a key lesson for Legoshi in his fight which Riz fails to understand.

As this series biggest themes is of carnivores and herbivores. What Gouhin says below can't be any more true. It is clear as day the fear that herbivores have living in a society where carnivores way of living is to eat meat. Essentially eat the herbivores. Though with the rules and regulations of them coexisting eating meat is akin to doing cocaine and other drugs. The temptation to eat herbivores is all too real. Where the carnivores have their struggles as they don't want to fall into temptation. Regardless of how tempting it might be.

We even see how bullying is done in both sides. Carnivores fearing the herbivores that they are the hunters. Herbivores do the same as with Juno in S1 because they have confidence the way the world works saves them.

Louis was a character who in S1 when Haru was kidnapped, felt so powerless. After he joined Shishigumi as their leader he felt he was finally in the position to make the difference. Though he adoptive father could see it clear as day nothing actually changed. With Ibuki he formed a great bond of sorts with him, but the misery of carnivores vs herbivores resulted in his death. He sought to protect Louis and the attempt to eat was him pushing Louis away as that life does not suit him.

As Riz makes the assumption that Legoshi has eaten Louis and draws the conclusion that these two herbivores are the same. They couldn't be any more different as Riz's friendship was akin to his delusions. Tem simply allowed himself to be eaten because as a herbivore, it is their instincts to understand when it is no more use fighting back. But for Legoshi while he did eat Louis's foot, doing so took took away the reminder for Louis of his time in the black market. Which was holding him back and for Leogshi was the idea to value life as this helps Louis push forward in his life for the first time. Now the curious part is that now how will Legoshi go about his day now that he has been labeled as a meat eater. He is dropping from school, but where can he make a difference in this cruel society?

@LordDeathwatch I'd strongly recommend watching this when you get a chance since it's now available to be streamed. A great showcase of Fujimoto writing a story when he isn't unhinged like with CSM and especially especially Fire Punch. (I might just read that one day to see how unhinged that is :russ: ) It's a short film, less than an hour. I think its only behind Frieren & Monogatari as favorite stuff that came out this year.

I am holding out reading Goodbye Eri until that gets animated because if it gets the love Look Back did it's going to be great.

I know MAL scores are mostly bullshyt but I was :picard: at Blue Lock barely getting a 6, did the show fall off like that or is it one of those things were people tanked the rating for a stupid reason?
