TBH Senpai is an Otokonoko anime ending honestly feels pretty solid even without knowing the context that a movie for its ending is coming. While I am unsure how to feel about Makoto's mom because was it just the shock of her dad crossdressing that traumatized her? I guess the idea of him going out like that and people making the connection she is her father. At the very least, she is finally spending time with Makoto as a parent for once, which is what Makoto wants. Maybe the next time Makoto visits his grandfather, his mother can come along.
Not too much on Saki's end, but her mom getting excited with Makoto and Saki having fun gives me good vibes. Still concerned if there is something Saki's grandmother is hiding.
Overall, I would give this an 8/10. Despite being a P9 anime, they did a decent job and the story was pretty good. Visually Alya, Makeine & Atri are on another level in terms of romance shows. Though Saki shines when they do chibis. These visual issues are more so glaring on more serious moments, like when Makoto was trying to talk to his mom. Will check out the film as It's really cool its getting a full adaptation. The big thing going into this show is that it discusses gender norms & crossdressing playing a major theme.

I’m familiar with romance series just was trying it out should have did my research either way didn’t matter didn’t like chemistry between the 3 of them

Caught a showing of Howl's Moving Castle since it is its 20th anniversary. The story of Howl & Sophie how their love for another made them grow. Howl thinking beauty is the only wonder in the world and for Sophie found enthusiasm in her life. While I did like the family growth in the castle, the Witch of the Waste's inclusion was weird. You had the war which symbolized what Howl wanted to protect Sophie from, but the purpose beyond that could have been expanded. Also, the deal with Howl's master, I assume, is left a mystery.
The animation and music were fantastic, I should add. 9/10 for me.
So looks like a movie comes out in 2 years and S4 comes out in 4 years or so if I had to guess.
Tbh this series really has become one that I can't recommend to watch on a weekly basis as the directing has major issues. Still on a binge, it flows better. 2nd half of the season was much better than the first half. It played to the series' strengths of civilization world building and letting the characters personalities shine.
Would give TenSura S3 the same score as S2 Pt 2 and that is 7/10. Will try to read the light novels.

They really ended the season as the raid boss moves to its 2nd phase .
Basically, a series in a SAO setting that is mainly from the PoV of Debuggers. Decent adaptation of a manga that, I think, is underrated. But they couldn't afford 1 more episode.
