Ya they got first 3 vols on deck to buy but with only vol 1 out right now think July and sept vol 2 and 3 release on kindle if memory serves correct

Can't even mess with this now that the light novels are releasing. Only at volume 1 so when the novels pass the anime will watch then.

I mean the anime does a pretty good job giving a good feel for what the series as like. Plus by the time S3 comes I imagine the English translation of the Ln should be past S2 content. S3 is def at least 2-3 years from coming out imo.

Oblivion Battery Episode 11

I swear the animation in this episode took it up a notch. Like it's been solid all season, but it jumped a level was outstanding. :wow:

Great episode focusing on Shunpei. Simply put he was a guy that that wasn't physically gifted. So he had to put the extra effort, and it was a massive amount of extra work I imagine. At some point it's clear that he hit a wall. That's when he ran into Kei and Haruka. This is where sheer effort wouldn't match up to them.

He quit baseball because he was frustrated. However, despite trying to run away from it, he still loved baseball. At the end of the day he never got over the walls that he needed to tackle. For him, it was trusting others. There is only so much effort he can put in, but there are times when you need to trust your teammates. Kei might be unpredictable, but trusting him is what he needed to do.

The funniest part of this episode is when ideally you would want Commander Kei to be around to help the tension between Haruka and Kazuki. He didn't think much of it, but it helped to get Haruka out of his funk.

Fantastic episode this and the Aoi focused episodes have been my favorite.

Starting watching new season of Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc Ep 1

After coming off stuff like JJK, SLF, Wind Breaker. Kind of reminded that Demon Slayer animation is more style then substance unlike the ones mentioned before since those had better choregraphy in the fights. Looks really good, obviously. The main catch of the episode was the stuff with demonic marks that they didn't go into detail much from what I remember from the Swordsmith Arc.

Two shows that I really liked this season "Mysterious Disappearances" and "The Many Sides of the Voice Actor Radio". Both 8/10

For Mysterious Disappearances, for those that really enjoyed Dark Gathering will really love it for the most part. Not as much horror, but it goes into depth more about mysterious. Each arc I found to be really intriuging and fancinsating. Even the SoL stuff in between was pretty solid minus the fan service. Finale was fukking amazing till the last portion of it. Will read the manga.

For Seiyyu Radio, it is the rare anime that gives you a sight on the role of a Seiyuu. For the majority of arcs it does a great job at that minus the melodrama arc with Chika's mom. It builds on the friendship and rivalry between Yumiko and Chika. It does this well similarly to what Hibike does with Kumiko & Reina.

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc Ep 2

You know I was never one to expect some awesome characterization from Demon Slayer especially with how Swordsmith Arc went. But episode which is a focus on Giyu. His character shares a lot of parallels with Gyiu. We learn that Sabito trained alongside Giyu and was the same age as him. While Giyu was unremarkable Sabito was beyond special. He had the makings of a hero essentially.

Unfortunately life isn't fair as Sabito died during selection trying to save another student, while Giyu himself just got injured and passed selection without killing a certain demon. This episode does a great job of putting us in Tanjiro's position in empathizing with Giyu's struggles.

Tanjiro's empathy is one of his strongest traits. It shines once again here and for him thinking how to help Giyu. He remembers how Rengoku protected him and essentially asked to carry on his will. It is those words that remind Giyu about when Sabito talked sense into Giyu after his sister died. Live for her sake and now as well as for his sake. Which whips Giyu back into shape and strengthens his bond with Tanjiro
