Man that last episode of Kaiju no. 8 was lit.

When Kafka pulled up it was straight flames. That animation was going crazy.

:wow: :wow:
This episode felt like JJK for real. They using Kanju expansion n shyt.

I heard they were only doing 12 episodes.

This shyt needs 24 man.

It’s a slow paced biweekly manga they'd run out of chapters to cover if they did 24

Dope show….. we just need a little more Zestiness

Man the fights in Garouden are really well done.

I guess comparison to so many other shows that go mad over the type. It’s cool seeing more grounded fights.

Like every fight scene has been dope
Only thing I have a slight beef with is everyone (like Baki) having damn near the same body:

Dwight Howard shoulders
Wrestler neck
Ballerina torso
Skipped leg day despite all these kicks

This show has so much potential but it's not gonna run long enough to reach it.

Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 8 adapted chapters 21+22 as well as half of chapter 23. Pacing is very in line to what I expect, and next episode should finish volume 3. I do feel like at times the sound design/effects in the anime do feel underwhelming like in this episode. Moments like the explosion don't feel as heavy as the manga. Not a big issue, but it's worth mentioning.

This episode we get introduced to Rin whom is the leader of Hinagiku and former classmates with Kyo. She is very fond of Mutsumi, but in comparison to Kyo it's very tame in comparison. Although Taiyo stepping in did impress Rin, so that was a nice moment for Taiyo.
The big moment comes at the end of the episode. It gives the feeling Kuroyuri planned on Taiyo showing up, and he knows Taiyo very well. Kuroyuri is much more than what he leads on clearly.

Hopefully they up the budget for the next episode as it covers very important chapters.

How y’all feel about Wind Breaker?

:jbhmm::jbhmm:

I cannot stand characters like the Blonde dude who won’t shut the fukk up. He’s just like the Blonde dude from Demon Slayer.

At least Blonde dude from DS is decent when he shuts the fukk up.

I’m not saying he’s gotta be some badass dude, but the constant worrying and yelling is annoying.

Hopefully he gets better.

Now that I've finished Garouden at first I was thinking this was going into this thinking Baki like but it's actually reminding me more of Tough

And Netflix didn’t skimp on the animation?

Time for Taro to shine :blessed:
I am really intrigued to what TMS can do. Staff looks solid, but this is a hard manga to adapt compared to other jump series like JJK, CSM, Kaiju 8, etc because of how well done the manga is. Like between the art, paneling and choreography is top-notch. It's like the blueprint is already there and if the anime can even match the manga that would be a huge W.

S1 could adapt up to chapter 55 right before the JCC Transfer Exam Arc. From that point onward the series could just be played out as movies from then on and imo it would work well. Personally I want the movie level animation to do the manga justice.

Hopefully S1 pops off and doesn't suffer a fate similar to Yozakura Family where marketing is nonexistent. (Which is actually a really good jump series. And would say it is great if you love the action comedy, which is the foundation of the series) Though if Sakamoto Days ends up Netflix that should be good since they have done a solid job with marketing Dungeon Meshi.

12 episodes and likely a year or more break isn't what's needed to build momentum.
It's impossible to keep momentum for a biweekly series that has a VERY slow pace to it. Like if it was 2 cours it might not have material for another season in quite a few years.

The mangaka is milking the series shamelessly
