This cour is going to be over before people can really feel like it's getting good. If it's going to sit for years best to just switch over to the manga.

Train to the End of the World Episode 9
Honestly this and Dungeon Meshi are the two I have for my favorites of the season. This was a great episode as this pushed the main story forward.
Damn so Yoka in a lot of ways is a victim all of this. Basically she can change things at will like literally anything. I know a lot of early theories were that her imagination could affect the world, but the fact that is what it is is crazy. It sounds like Yoka's mind is always wiped out and to think she doesn't remember her friends is quite sad. Even sadder we see her going to school with the same classroom, but the 4 other seats are empty.
It seems they are aware that our train girls are coming to help Yoka. Looks like they will make things difficult. At the very least I am happy Yoka isn't corrupted, though the story at this point has us rescuing our princess Yoka. Also, the girls reactions to the map being legit was funny AF.

Tsukimichi S2 Episode 21
Sophia may be an antagonist, but seeing her beat Tomoki felt satisfying. At the very least he had dignity to make sure his companions weren't harmed. He is still an a$$hole.
You know I do have a soft spot for Hibiki's side the story. Her getting humbled after how her life in Japan was so easy compared to her life as a hero. She has improved, but that isn't enough since the demon is stepping it up as well.
I hope Makoto doesn't shy away from making a connection with her. Makoto and Hibiki have two different paths, but having someone from the previous world to here is comforting. Although the topic of the Goddess would be a very touchy subject.

Great episode for Spice & Wolf episode 9. The first bit with Nora was upsetting because she is stuck in a position of work where she can grow. Even fukking worse the church is not letting her use safer routes because of her blessing which is really disturbing and messed up.
So the conversation about credit and debt was a big indicator of things to come in this episode. It is very understandable for Holo not to like being in debt. If you are in danger of falling in the red it can feel uncomfortable because what if you mess up? Kraft mentions being in debt isn't a big deal if you know you will get out of it.
The price of armor going down is a huge loss for him. You can really see him panicking. His punishment is something even worse than debt. I am surprised the punishment is so brutal. It feels like he was unaware of the punishment.
The ironic part is that he wanted to solve his debt by taking another loan. The ending of this episode really caught my eye. With Holo around, it gives an impression that they are companions at the very least and in their viewpoint she is dependent on Kraft. The conversation with the last man hi lights this. While it would have served better if Holo stayed at the inn, Kraft raising his frustrations at her was really wrong on his part.
First things first Kraft needs to cool off and relax. Right now he is panicking and not in the right mindset.

Idk about switching to the manga because that animation is crazy. This one of my favorite shows now.

I gave this a shot but couldn't really get into after the first episode in the fungi village. It's a fine show but the premise is not very compelling.
And I'm starting to think that animation is really make or brake for me at this point. There's literally nothing wrong with how they animated Train to the End of World but the design of the characters, the fact they are like 11 year olds and how it's colored just doesn't sit right with me for some reason.

I feel that. If you aren’t invested in the cast + world and aren’t invested to see what happens next the show def can lose a lot of its luster.
When you finally get to reading this you might not look at action manga the same. The fights are so dynamic and well drawn between choreography & paneling it’s a treat to read.Finally
Can't wait to watch season 1 and then finally hop on the manga

Watched up to episode 12 of Black Butler. Diving more into Ciel's past and the relation from who Ciel before his home burned and his personality now is alarming. Before you had a cheerful kid and now he is literally business as usual. Elizabeth wanting the birthday gift is heartwarming to show how much she cares and worries about him. Unfortunately she got stuck into a situation where she got kidnapped.
This really highlights how bad birthdays have been for him. That's actually depressing.
. We get more disturbing images of him being captured and going through some disturbing things. The series def have a good amount of dark shyt in store. Clearly someone is out to get Ciel, and we see Angela, and she clearly is going to be involved again.
The good news is that Elizabeth was saved. This arc did showcase his feelings for Elizabeth and wanting to save her, which was highlighted when Sebastian didn't want to risk Ciel coming into harm. A little proof to show that the old Ciel isn't gone.

Jojo manga started in 1986 and continues today with part 9. Also, it went from being published in a Shounen magazine to Senien magazine, so clearly the series gradually evolved. It's nothing you see too common.
I believe both Trigun and Vinalnd Saga evolved into being more mature series in terms of writing, but have nowhere near the longevity that Jojo has.

I guess…. I’m looking at say in comparison to a DBZ, these niccas was still on various levels of Super Saiyans and KamekameHAs.
The characters got stronger….. but the powers and tactics more or less stayed the same
