Girls Band Cry Episode 8
This was a ride of an episode. Man the brief beginning of the episode since Momoka with her former bandmates was sad. Thinking of what could have been. It really well demonstrates how she has similarities to Nina and how she got inspired by her. Tbh I do get the point of her feeling like the bad guy. Commend about DD being nothing without Momoka must have been a hurdle for DD to go over.
I feel like one issue with Nina's character we are getting is the lack of consequences. She fully puts her emotions on her sleeve which is cool. But man this episode highlighted that the end result went Nina's way. While yes Momoka was running away, which was true. But everything from when she slapped Momoka to her putting herself in front of a truck really has me concerned for Nina's emotional state. Honestly no surprised she walked out on the apology in the flashback given with what we have seen from her so far in the show.
As Momoka was flipping off her former bandmates it was a sweet reunion at the same time. Meanwhile, whatever happened between Nina and Hina is bad blood the next time they meet. Which should be for some entertaining drama. The point that Momoka mentions to Nina that things not always going your way. If you are putting your heart out, and you are getting the results like Momoka did with DD what do you do? Do you stay true to yourself even if things aren't going to get better? Nina has made it clear that they won't do what Diamond Dust did.
Also, gotta say god bless Subaru. She deserves a raise. That conversation between her and Momoka needed to happen. Clearly there were things quite noticeable about Nina that she didn't recognize. They need to have a serious talk, and she pushed Momoka because she knows that isn't going to come from Nina and Momoka is an adult after all.
Rupa continues to be a mysterious girl given she knew that the argument between Nina and Momoka was the beginning rather than the end.

I enjoyed the anime. Not the novel series is getting picked up.

didn't even know this season started. The more I watch I think the reason I don't connect to it as much has to do with the quirky style of writing/emotionally getting points across. I don't think it's a Japanese thing but rather the mangaka's unique style. I just don't care for none of the dramatic undertones anymore.

Series fell off after S3. It tried to do this combination of Battle Shounen and SoL mix, but did the SoL aspects so poor that at least I don't give a fukk about most of those kids. First half of S6 was great, but it went back to the S4 vibe after that tbh. Which isn't bad, but it's very unimpressive imo.My hero academia has fell the f*** off
Bones is putting the work in and adapting it very well, so I personally will stick with it as popcorn entertainment.

Tonbo Episode 8
Great episode. This show does a great job at making you empathize with the cast and understand what they are going through. Tsubura's is such a great man. It's clear his line of work doesn't do much, but pay the bills. He went the extra mile to make sure her daughter has no hindrance in practicing golf. Adding on the fact he didn't tell her because he didn't want her feeling guilty of the extra work he put in for her sake for golf. But I love how she responded, I don't care how worn out this truck is I am proud of you for everything you have done for me. It also is funny how Tonbo reacts to her dedication with practicing.
That really makes an impact on Tonbo as she wants to do things for her grandfather. But Gon hit her with the real question what will you do after I am gone. The answer at least partially should be golf. Grandpa is the right person to raise this type of question because that who she is the closest with. We continue to see how much Tonbo loves golf as the new club adds a new world of golf that Tonbo was unaware of.
Clearly whoever designed that golf course outline in the map loves golf and no surprise Igarashi wants Tonbo to meet him. I wonder how hesitant Tonbo will be.

As much as I don't care for the majority of the cast man Aizawa is such a great character. He's taking ownership of his students and that talk with Aoyama was executed fantastically. Even dealing with Aoyama's shytty situation he wants to fully act the role of this teacher and guide him.

you gotta give us something better than "oh he turned his head and..." Literally anything could've been better than that.NGL I hope they wrap up this cat n mouse situation with him and the defense corps

I just feel like the beginning of a show shouldn't have any issues like that
makes me worried about what bullshyt is gonna occur when the plot actually gets thick and we're expecting to get good writing.I try to give shows with alot of hype top tier standards until they prove otherwise, I got nothing wrong with mids they just gotta be labelled as such lol

The fighting is realistic and the music goes hard as fukk. Damn that shyt has been next level with the fighting. Crazy how we got Windbreaker and Viral Hit, all these dope ass martial arts themed anime all running at the same time.
