We know them nikkas are gonna find out, if there isn't a good payoff for this slow burn it's gonna slip into well-animated mid category for me how we already slipping only 8 episodes in....

Great episode for episode 8 of Jellyfish Can't Swin in the Night. This episode really highlights the positive and negatives of the internet age. In this day and age information spill like wildfire. Take for example the doxxer using very little information he was able to show evidence that Kano was making the comeback. Of course, we still don't have all the information what happened with Kano, but there still is a lot of fan backlash. Seeing Mahiru and the other girls step up for her was a great moment. Basically mentioning this is not just Kano's dream, but their dream.

Kiui with a great line here. In this day and age you can form connections even if you are not in person. Which is what they did with a virtual performance, but she really showed her creative side by displaying those fan arts. Big moment for her and this provides a boost of confidence in the group.

Now the ending with Kano's mom is an interesting angle to put at the end of the episode. I see what Yuki Yaku could be going for. I think she legit likes the art Mahiru puts together. With that said I expect Mahiru to try to repair the relationship between her mom and Kano.

IMO a binge would be better for the next season or if it comes out as a movie. Since that starts the final arc of the series. Since I think this season is basically a training arc to my understanding

Training Arcs are hit and miss.

I hope they land the finish and show us some dope shyt…. You can’t really reinvent the wheel at this point on training arcs….

But if all else fails they need to keep it Zesty

This show don’t hit the same as when it one of the New Big 3 with Petite Clova and I guess early DS.

Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master Episode 8

Alright this was a wild episode with Shiratama at the center. It's clear that she has some involvement with Samomo's death. I mean turning the blame on Asebi while they should be mourning Samomo's death was a big sign of that. But Shiratama is quite on a breaking point. Seeking to marry Wakamiya for 100% out of duty despite loving another man. Was Kazumi the one Shiratama loved or was it another person I wonder? Wakamiya has a lot of faith in him, so my gut tells me the thief is a different person.

I've to say out of the 4 girls, Hamayuu has been my favorite. She has the most interesting personality, and she is very level-headed. She could read into the lines very well. I feel like she could smell the bullshyt from Takimoto. It's safe to suspect in her in some capacity.

Wakamiya visited Asebi's older sister in secret and getting information why she faked being sick and then had Asebi go in her place. I highly suspect it has to do with the Empress. Perhaps she is aware what happened to her mother. Would be cruel to send her younger sister if that was the reason.

Man the fights in Garouden are really well done.

I guess comparison to so many other shows that go mad over the type. It’s cool seeing more grounded fights.

When Kafka pulled up it was straight flames. That animation was going crazy.

It’s a slow paced biweekly manga they'd run out of chapters to cover if they did 24
