TenSura Episodes 5 finished wrapping up the plot points that aware skipped in S1 and episode 6 starts immediately where S1 ended. Based on the foreshadowing from the previous episode it isn't only Tempest that is in trouble, but also the Animal kingdom. By putting up two barriers thanks to Clayman's orders for Mjurran and the church from Falmuth. This association is odd, but what's even more odd is Milim going against Carrion.
Mjurran is a case you can't help, but feel bad for in these two episodes. She clearly is someone who doesn't want to die and is basically at Clayman's orders. Hearing how Grucius mentions how Clayman just disregards those when they are of no more use to him. Clayman really showing he is scum by manipulating her new-found feelings for Youm.
Overall these events did a great job at bringing up a new reality. Not everyone will be found of Rimuru creating a place for Monsters to coexist. Given the fact that this well-thought-out plan to both disrupt communications from Rimuru, but also a barrier to weaken monsters. This tone gives Rimuru a taste of reality that he really needed regarding this world.
The encounter with Hinata headlines that the info that she is stronger than Shizue is very real. Granted Rimuru here was weakened. However, the most concerning thing is the intel she receives. The biggest indicator that they know Rimuru would say he is Japanese. Well that severely narrows it down to Veldora, Shizue, Yuuki and the monsters back at Tempest. By process of elimination it's obviously Yuuki. Yuuki clearly has dark secrets that he is hiding. Rimuru doesn't regret saving those kids one bit, but until he becomes more suspect of Yuuki he is very vulnerable.
The ones that are targeting Rimuru are growing more and more.
