Tomozaki S2 adaptation due to pacing has been middling, but they absolutely nailed one of my favorite scenes from the Ln. Illustrating how bad of a habit it is for one to put themselves done and to add if it makes you comfortable. If one is to strive for success in life this should happen only if you achieved something awesome or did something to be proud of. Not putting yourself down.

Adding on the fact how others may look up to you and how they feel the person they look up to or admire is putting themselves down. In that example in particular, when you are putting yourself down, you are putting down that person as well. One of the worst habits to have in life.

If anybody wants some Harry Potter-inspired fukkery, check out Mashle: Magic and Muscle, shyt be have me :russ: a lot of times.
Mashle just keeps delivering every week, crushing guys and explaining powers that would take a miniarc in most shows in 1-2 max here with time for a creampuff break.

Cracks me up when they're Masha-a Burndead-to :mjlol:

Mash that type of dude to get a "KILL ON SIGHT" at Planet Fitness if he ever tried to enter one of their gyms.

Sengoku Youkou Episode 8

Man seeing Shakugan in the OP & ED is going to have me feeling sad for the rest of the cour man. :mjcry:

I guess Shakugan not being 100% dead dead is a plus, but it doesn't make me or the trio feel much happier. We're finally starting Shinsuke arc, and decent start to it. While Tama and Jinka are affected very much so from Shakugan's death, Shinsuke is fukking broken from it and I can't blame him. He was hoping to match up to her and be on the same level as her, but he was unable to do anything about it.

We do see a brother and sister have a discussion where the older sister has to end up being the sacrifice. The younger brother doesn't want his sister to go away and despite the brave face of course she doesn't want it either. Kinda wished to get more of what Tama meant when she said a sacrifice very 4 years is fair. But it's easy to understand Shinsuke's perspective of just leaving the sister to be sacrificed is wrong. She doesn't want this why does she have to be sacrificed for everyone's sake. Why her in particular?

Shinsuke runs into the a$$hole who killed Shakugan. He finally takes the step forward to use the magic sword he has, but he needs more training. Still at the very least it was nice of him to give Resshin a beating. I like there is still that part of him that wants to make Shakugan proud of him. At the very least there is a path out of this muddy hole of depression that Shakugan's death lead him.

Shinsuke still isn't thinking straight when he tells the head of the village to die since they are weak. But even he knows what he said was wrong. Still all they can do is progress forward.

The trio now meet up with a Mountain Goddess and a spirit of wood and water. She mentions Jinka's eyes are sealed I am curious to learn more about that.

After 8 episodes in the direction and plot of Metallic Rouge basically makes sense now. Episode spoilers below.

You really wonder what the answer is? Rouge wants to reach equality between Neans and Humans. But the problem is how can she achieve this? Noid's death highlights how bad Neans are treated. Was that a human? No, a nean. Oh, there should be no issue. They are simply treated as second class citizens. Rouge would need the humans to acknowledge the neans first.

So basically the power for Neans freedom comes from gathering the pieces of the immortal nine or the data from them? That makes sense why Rouge was tasked with hunting them down. To prevent the order of neans from changing.

Now it begs the question. Rouge's brother mentions order is more preferable than what would come if neans had their freedom? But is it fair for neans whom are basically just viewed as tools. Order is always more preferable to those in power.

Dungeon Meshi Ep 9

You know I can understand the view point of Marcielle and Namari. Marcielle is a genuinely good person who could never leave a friend behind. But Namari looks at it like a realistic sense. But I am happy they made up at the end. Senshi's part of resurrection is spot in the sense. Normally when people die they don't come back alive. I get Tansu will use every tool he has in his pocket. But for people to experience death over and over again throws me off.

I found it fukking hilarious when Namari reacted to Senshi's "pot". He was like yes I know of the high quality stuff about it, but I have no use for any of that stuff lmao. I am happy that Namari came back to help Marcielle and the gang. After all there shouldn't be any bad blood between them.

It was nice to see these two groups bonding a bit. I hope Tansu takes the time to view the people he travels as people, rather as workers and tools. Cause him using Namari as a shield and reviving her really rubbed me the wrong way.

Witch and the Beast episode 7 adapted chapters 14-17. Pacing felt fine, you can tell the studio doesn't have the resources to really focus on the action scenes. Still the delay was needed because coming from last episode where it looked unpolished, this episode was more in line with what we have gotten so far.

Regarding the episode in particular. World building continues to be executed as well as the manga. Matt Cugat showcasing how powerful the elementals are, after he is a power comparable to a witch. But unfortunately for him, he got setup by the Executioner and Helga. We keep hearing how dangerous the Demon Sword, but it's causing people to go mad by looking at it starts to make you start to believe those fears.

It's weird to feel bad for a witch, but man Helga seemingly got setup for crimes she didn't commit. Then having to protect this demon sword, which everyone else is power hungry for. It is a bit of a joke about her wanting a boyfriend, but it really hints to the fact this isn't the life she wanted.

@LordDeathwatch Remember we were talking about this. Fanbase going to be in a riot with no studio change. :lolbron:

Maaaan fukk 'em, I'm just trying to get this piff finally. :blessed:
I mean, the teaser showed that JC Staff will at least try to make a better effort than season 2.

It just doesn't help them that season 1 was one of the GOAT animated seasons for a fighting series. The bar was set that high and Murata's drawing also sets an impossibly high standard too. Still, I don't think S2 is defensible, they treated OPM like a random series and not the blockbuster hit that it was.

I do wonder how they'll pace this arc and if it's just 1 cour like season 2. Murata's adaptation took for fukking forever to get to the action we were all waiting for (it was worth it though, jreh spazzed the fukk out with it) and S2 already felt like an unfinished story, they better deliver some memorable shyt this time around.
