I mean it's prob the better alternative consider how much the demons are hyped up. That Demon would have one shot anyone else if they didn't have the healing capabilities like Rose and Usato has. I complimented Frieren with it's Anime original aditions. A Sign of Affection lliterally added the backstory of Shin, Emma & Itsuomi as anime original as they only adapted chapter 13. fukking insane.
Unlike Rin and Kyouya, seeing Emma and Shin possibly together is going to be a tough and complicated road. Shin despite being popular with the girls, just not as much as Itsuomi obviously was more of a loner, quiet type. But man that scene which slowly went from darkness among Emma and Shin to sun shining on them exhibits how Shin fell in love with her.
But Emma being so driven in love with Itsumoi was something that would always hold him back. And this line he says here doesn't do any favors. This is where Itsuomi unique way of communicating with other unintentionally causes Shin suffering. Because oh sure he will eventually to start dating, and he will be interested in Emma. And as a friend he doesn't want to take that possible happiness away from her. Thus, we also see him having girlfriends as they ask him out, but they can easily tell his heart belongs to Emma.
But for Itsuomi it was more so finding the special girl for him, which is Yuki. Shin is unable to say the truth simply because of how much he loves Emma. It's a conflict you can empathize because you know the truth will crush her. But isn't it more painful to not let her know and in consequence you are suffering too?

Ragna Crimson Episode 19 adapted chapters 43-45. One of the better episodes in the 2nd half of the cour. Highlighting on the fantastic voice acting which has been easily the best part of this adaptation. Voice acting between Ragna + Crimson and Kaumi + Starlia scenes were great. The big concern do they have enough budget to deliver on the fights that will end this season?
Now regarding the episode itself.
Man that whole argument aspect between Ragna and Crimson was amazing. Voice acting was great per usual. But man not only the look on Crimson's face when Ragna got back up was a spectacle to see. Then Ragna holding off Chimera without much effort was icing on the cake. But Crimson had a realization in the back. So he got his own plans separate from Ragna. Still I love the development from Ragna here. Lia and her corps gave Ragna that sparked to think for himself and follow his heart.
I also really like who the corps were able to figure out on their own that Lia is till alive. On that topic Lia may be alive, but as soon as Ragna comes back the poison is gonna kick in. I got to give Kaumi my respect on one matter. He wants to fight Ragna as his best. He knows what he had before wasn't it.
There is the mention in this episode that he is the former monarch. I guess from their point of view Ultimata is a saint. Which I do see going from Crimson who probably just looked at them like tools. But it doesn't hide the fact what Ultimata's goals of killing people in the name of god's will isn't justified.

The Dangers in My Heart continues its strong S2 in Ep 8
The whole basketball scene was beautiful. Kyo by accident touches Anna's boobs, but instead of breaking down completely as he noramlly would, he pushes forward which has been the theme of this S2. And he sees if he makes this shot he will ask her out. He misses, but Anna is there for the outback. It really illustrates how Anna is always around as Kyo's rock and is always there for him.

Apothecary Diaries Episode 20
This episode really took us on a ride. Following the events of last week Maomao explains her thought process to Jinshi. Also, news of Suirei killing herself from poison seems odd. Leading to Maomao wanting to make sure. She was right to trust her gut. Man if Maomao catches a hold of Suirei she won't let her go again. Also, it feels like she has some connection with Loulan, who is clearly trying to seem unappealing to the Emperor. Could she be the mastermind?
So Jinshi is a 19-year-old hiding behind the mask of a 24-year-old Eunch? This adds more to the pot of who he is? Or rather what even is his real name. Still have such a small amount of information for this mystery.
Well now it seems that Gyokuyou is possibly pregnant. Look like Maomao is back in her services. Also damn the little kid has grown since the last time we saw her.

With the Wethermond fight done we are back to our normal pacing with this adaptation. As episode 20 of SLF finished up chapter 45 and volume 5. As well as fully adapting chapters 46 and 47.
We did spend a little more time with Sunraku and Emul in their scenes together. But beyond this episode it was faithfully adapted. The key visual did give me worries about them jumping to volume 9. But given that Lycaon teaser was also in this episode and chapters covered in the manga I don't think they are focusing on covering that fight this season.
Regarding the episode. Nice episode to get what is everyone doing next following the Wethermond fight. Sunraku is reunited with Emul for the first time in what feels like forever. Emul really gets emotional. Sunraku seeing the rewards he got following the fight and can't be more ecstatic.
Meanwhile, it seems Arthur has refound her motivation to continue playing SLF. Interesting she was planning to drop the game and move on after beating Wethermond. But all what Setsuna said after their fight lit a spark in her. No doubt she will be in Sunraku's company again.
Ok the whole argument of game balance versus nerfing Wethermond was hilarious AF. Then the head trying to break up the fighting, and it leaves his stomach in more pain than he would like. Although them freaking out Wethermond being beat since there is an order regarding the Unique Bosses interesting enough. Sunraku is making quite a splash making both Devs and players stressed out. Curious how this changes to what the devs originally had planned for the game.

7th Time Loop Episode 8
Honestly no surprise the Knight training that Rishe is going through is much rougher then she could handle. But it's what she wanted after all. I love how Theodore smirks on the possibility this ploy would be a big shocked to Arnold. Honestly I would be more shocked if he doesn't have some idea she is planning this.
I've to give my props to Elsie she went full out on making Rishe beautiful. Arnold made this arrangement hush, hush so he would have her picked out a ring for herself. It's funny how Rishe is skillful in so many aspects. Hell she figured out all 3 jewels weren't the original. But for the 2nd week in a row we see her falling more for Arnold. Now wanting the ring to match his blue eyes and her reacting to what she said was adorable.
Prince Kyle is visiting Arnold early, whom Rishe knows well from one of her previous loops. His health seems to be of some concern. Uh she might want to choose her words carefully regarding Kyle. The look Arnold gave Kyle when he called Rishe a goddess looked legit like he was about to cut his head off. Well flirting with another man's wife right in front of him and it being Arnold's wife nonetheless.
I think Rishe might end up having bigger concerns to them being found out as Lucius. Hell she is easily overreacting that Lawvine will immediately be able to recognize that Rishe is Lucius.

And having to watch as she loses control to watching her best friend being burned. The Demon Lord who forced to come to this world as a tool left her there never to be heard of since.
Luckily the hero, very likely the same hero that sealed Veldora allowed her to open up and actually have a life with a purpose. Where she found purpose as an instructor. Where she could help kids who were in her same position. But this was a temporary measure. The pain of being cursed of being summoned came back. As a person who was forced into this world, her life here was a miserable one. In fact, it wasn't until Rimuru allowed her to finally rest where she could find peace and happiness.
It was talked about how fate would bring Rimuru and Shizue together. In most isekais this would be akin to a pair of romance of some sorts. But for Rimuru who carries out her will to find the demon lord that summoned her. We see very quickly how they are able to bond and get friendly with each other quite quickly. She was probably the first person in this world that Rimuru would truly call a friend. We also have him committing to the promise he made to Veldora as well. This is truly the start of Riumuru's journey.
