In Ishura ep 6 we are finally done with character introductions we are finally moving on to the story somewhat in this episode. Still some more build up, but feels like the dominos are finally coming into place. Let's see how these next 6 episodes go.

Yuno urgency given where she started off this season. But somebody could have intentionally caused that disaster seems reasonable. Meanwhile Taren calling herself a self proclaimed Demon Lord is interesting. Her assassination seems to be the one thing that can stop the war.

The relationship between Taren, Curte and Regnejee seems interesting. No surprise Curte admires Regnejee for saving her. But Taren knows that Regnejee isn't a good wyvern. We have Dakai heavily implying his intentions aren't good.

Elea continues to be very suspect. She trying to get rid of Lana is kind of messed up. Funny enough Kia saved Lana. Dakai caught Lana for being a spy, but Elea needs to save Lana know is ironic. Tho Elea putting Kia to rest on a random bench at night was weird to me.

I know I’m late but I watched berserk 1997 last week and now I’m watching it again

The color tones, the music, everything about this show is perfect

Sousou no Frieren reminds me of Mushishi. Just the overall "chill" vibe and the life lessons you get from episodes that may initially feel like filler
Honestly it really showcasing how SoL elements can really enhance a series like Frieren. It adds an element that makes you fond of the characters and even relate to them in some ways.

In general SoL in something people on here sleep on, but when executed well you get some great stuff. As it's a character driven genre. Dungeon Meshi is another example that uses SoL elements so well to develop the world and the cast.

Laios really was jumping into paintings looking for food like he is playing Super Mario 64 :pachaha:. Kind of cool to see the evolution in these paintings of the character inside of them :ehh:

Chilchuck needs to call Frieren cause maybe she would help with his fear of mimics. Also the end bit was hilarious Laios realizing ChilChuck was older them him :deadrose:

And u don’t keep any of ur digital medias from it also apparently:dahell:
It sucks but those are the breaks with all these digital products. I would not be surprised if this is due to contracts and whatever, signed by Funimation and other parties, that may or may not transfer over in a acquisition.

Man talk about muscle vs muscle, man vs man general battle between Meng Wu and Hang Ming. Truly pushes Meng Wu who is a big guy himself to his limits. And of course this fukking bytch doesn't give a fukk about honor. :unimpressed:

I mean logically her point is valid. But we have how much honor is put in these 1 vs 1 general fights. And to her to say fukk it idc. I can't imagine how that is .

I loved this scene personally. We see Tian's instincts kicking in. And was able to save his father from getting hit from that surivial blow. But Hang Ming no surprise thinks he's interrupting the duel and delivers a heavy blow to Tian who is barely alive. But man this really should how much Wu cares for his son.

He won't say it, but there clearly was extra fuel where oh you attacked my son. You are going down. He continues to give tough love to his son unlike Meng Ao. And this was the moment things started turning around for Qin.

This due Wang Jian :deadrose:. Man outplayed Ordo and got him spooked. I would never trust him but you can't hide the fact he was the reason why Wa Lin's plan didn't succeed. Plus her reaction after it all unfolded was perfect :lolbron:

Man atmosphere in Chu after the day was done was tense. They lost 2 big time generals. Wa Lin's bulletproof plan failed. But the thing that both Xin and Lian Po mentioned. What is Li Mu's move. Him and Zhao are hella quite. Got me nervious :lupe:

Yeah Meng Wu is one of the few characters that I just can't fukk with in this series. His abilities are without question and until recently, unrivaled but his alignment, loyalties, and overall character is absolute basura. His style of parenting, leadership, and the "tough exterior to cover actual emotions" build doesn't work for me, he's flat.

Lin is the polar opposite, this broad is openly devious and ruthless but not in the snakey annoying way Zheng's mother is. She's an ideal villain with power and ability to back it up, she's even got the idiot punching bag subordinate trope going but it works.

Li Mu is ancient China's Aizen like I said, if this MF isn't in full view at all times, I'm paranoid. :unimpressed:

The Witch and the Beast in episode 8 adapted chapters 8 + 9. Pacing was great, voice acting was well done and visuals were decent enough. World Building continues to be adding layer ontop of layer in a well written, but also easy to understand manner.

This was the chapter in the manga where it was revealed Phanora was a witch truly got me invested in the manga. Anime did a solid job here. The fact is we are given such a negative view on Witches in the first 2 arcs. It showcases how fukking horrifying and powerful witches are, but one employed by the order makes you want to give a second thought for just calling all witches evil.

The necromancer was fukking scum and he desired ever bit that Phanora through his way. Now Phanora will have him working him like a dog for what could feel like an eternity. The ironic part is he gave no remorse about the undead's he resurrected in terms of them ending up in the void, but now that it is happening to him now it matters.

You can feel for the officer, he knows more than ever now messing with the undead is more wrong than even he originally thought. But he has this happiness of being reunited with the woman he loves.

World building continues to shine in this series. The depth they explained how necromancy works is beyond well done. And it leaves with thoughts now like Johan being Phanora's Undead means he will be by her side for what could feel like an eternity.
