All Star
Finished watching Tearmoon Empire. I never would expected this to be one of my favorite comedies of the season.
You know with such an emotional episode 1, it setup the stage for the comedy for this entire season. It was so consistent and on point it just flowed so well. This was one of the most fun anime shows of this season if not the year.
It is always funny seeing what Mia is thinking compared to everyone else. Two great examples in this episode the first when her and Anne were surprisingly on the same page and it lead to one of the funniest anime kicks I have ever seen. As you can see below
2nd was in typical Mia fashion where she wanted to make sure she protected her happiness, but it looked like she was showing mercy to those people that ruined her life.
I do plan to read the Light Novel tho since there seems to be tons of source material left. I am curious as a reader if all the world building flows better reading it then watching the anime. Just on the surface level there seems to be a lot of potential to it, but this season was mostly focused more so on Mia, which was great and hilarious on its own.
