I stopped watching the og anime because of filler pacing but I'll gladly rewatch a tighter remake.

Shangri-La Frontier adapted chapters 24+25. Not to much to add as it adapted these chapters well per usual.

The main info drop at the beginningthe episode made it clear why Arthur wanted to seek help from Sunraku and Katzo. A 50 level cap against a 200 level unqiue monster is absolutely insane and it requires a tight well sound strategy to even stand a chance.



This episode focused mainly on Katzo build and strengths since we are well acquinted with Sunraku at this point. Fun episode. The whole part where skipping the first town cause Sunraku to miss valuable tutorials on how skills operate in SLF was fukking great

Then the whole intereaction where Sunraku tries to explain Katzo the player is a guy who is using a girl player was great too

Then this point where Emul unintentionally trash talks Katzo had me dead

@LordDeathwatch this actually looked decent and solid. Guideau's voice was one concern that they had to get right and she sounded good. Not gonna live up to the manga, but if it can be solid adaptation I will be more then happy

WIT might make me watch One Piece they deserve my attention.

So Mappa took people off JJK season 2 (and made that team's life even harder) just so they could crunch a CSM movie just like they did with JJK0?? They really are a piece of shyt studio

Now I wonder if their main focus for 2024-early 2025 will be on JJK season 3 (after the CSM movie) instead of CSM season 2.

I feel like it would make more sense for them to zero in on CSM S2. It just makes more sense to focus on that and finish CSM pt 1. [JJK Manga Spoilers] The ending to Shibuya ends at a good stopping point for the anime. While [CSM Manga Spoilers] Will leave the anime audience wanting more with how the bomb arc ends. Might as well focus on that not to mention Mappa gets more out of CSM doing well then JJK.

To note the other projects mappa works on is by their B team so CSM and JJK aren't affected for the most part since they only use their best for these two shows for obvious reasons.

Regarding One Piece its nice to have an option besides the manga. And no the weekly anime is not and option. Anything anime that adapts at most 1 chapter per episode is status.

This show going above and beyond then even what you see even in a great adaptation. 100 Kanojo is a great Harem Parody. But I didn't expect them to enhance the source material like we are also getting with Frieren and Apothecary Diaries.

My prayers have been answered I've been calling for this for so long. It's time to finally right the wrongs and give the GOAT the production it truly deserves

I thought she was a good character.

That happened to her way too early and shouldn’t have happened at all tbh.

So I’m guessing the author is just gonna keep doing this with characters just because.

Hol up, now this ain't Hell's Paradise where MFs getting bodied at random every episode with little to no build. This arc and more importantly, it's losses are to impress upon you how vital Gojo was in maintaining the balance in this world.

Guys like Jogo and even Sukuna were made to look like scrubs and made light of with him in play. Everything was going to be alright because they just needed to hold out until Gojo arrives. Now he's out the picture and these same easy Ws are resulting in the deaths of top ranked characters and reality sets in.

There are serious consequences in this world and they make you feel it.

Yeah this definitely looks promising. It's got a high bar to live up to against your last suggestion with Dark Gathering.

Man the direction in Dark Gathering has surpassed my expectations. Like the direction and tone have been on point from the manga really showcasing the horror.

I would love to see the anime for Witch and the Beast like Dark Gathering to exceed my expectations. But there are some arcs where it needed a top flight studio to do it justice imo. The manga is just top flight.

But the Pv gives me confidence it can at least be a solid adaptation. As long as the pacing is on point the storytelling, writing and characters can really shine even if the animation will hit some speed bumps.

Man Overtake delivered on the finale Easily one of my favorite recent originals.

It was great to see Haruka get the W at the end. Plus when Haruka thanked Kouya was great showing how much Haruka has grown since the beginnning of the episode. Their dynamic really growed on me.

It's unfortunate things didn't go the way for Tokumaru, but he took it on it like a winner. He put Satsuki in the best position and he was the first one to clap for Haruka. Thank god nothing bad happened to Satsuki. And just like he did with Tokamaru he pushed Harku to where he needed to earn the W which I love.

We also had Sae-chan offering the push Kouya needed and I love that he wasted no time taking pictures once Haruka won.
