Idk if this has been answered before, but why is most of their shyt based off highschool?
Target audience is the biggest thing. Most is aimed at high schoolers. But at the same time it is something that people can relate with. Also adding in high school is considered the last time of happiness in Japan after that its college and work force. And getting into how terrible the work force is in Japan, so it is safe to say college most likely isn't much better.

Also keep in mind a vast majority of anime is based off Manga and Light Novels which has the target audience listed above. These demographics being Shounen, Senien and Shoujo. From my experience it doesn't matter the setting for manga in these demographics they ultimately treat it like the typical high school anime.

Josei is a demographic that aims for outside of high school and the characters actually behave their age. Here are some example.

This entire arc has been flames :wow:

Mappa need to give them folks a break, ill wait for piff like this :cook:
:mjlol:

Mappa already putting them into work when next season starts on a new project

Undead Unluck Episode 11 was more so a setup but introduced some interesting stuff. It introduced Negator Hunters which seeks revenge against the world unlike the union. These feel more like the regular person would feel in blaming the world without understanding the cause. The means don't justify the action basically.

Also Andy listing the 4 outcomes as a negator in how their life evolves is the following

Some stuff that is def worth keeping in mind. As the first option is for those people who were just unaware like Fuuko was early on in her life. The 2nd circumstance is for people like Fuuko when realizing her life has been hell and she is better off killing herself granted Andy did save her, but that is obviously not always the case. The 3rd circumstances is like the Negator hunters which we were just introduced to. The last being members of the union.

Appreciate it.. I always wondered

Watchung Yu Yu Hakusho or whatever, it’s pretty good. But it’s based off another HS kid and just had me wondering.

Sucks that HS is considered like the best parts of their lives. Explains a lot

Just Started S3 of Attack on Titan

Did they switch animation companies?

Changed up the character designs - everything looks more "anime" like. Faces changed, subtle character designs.

And in terms of the web slinging, feels like they went from Alex Saviuk Amazing Spiderman 297 to Todd McFarlane Amazing Spiderman 298.
