Just watched the Boy and the Heroin. It was a good film. I liked the story for the kid. Mainly at the beginning he loses his mother and he has a hard time accepting his new mom. But on his journey to bring her back home not only do you see constantly he is willing to do whatever it takes to bring her back. But at the end when he realizes that Himi is his mom he has grown enough to accept she can't walk the same door as her. Still looking back being able to be with her great most likely meant the world to him.

Visuals were great and music was very nice. I will mention that this isn not an easy to digest film. Pacing is a lil all over the place because there are moments that I wished went faster and others where I wished it gave it time to slow down. This def feels one that is more suited to watching at home then at theaters if I had to say.
Where did you watch it breh? Theater? it still hasn't arrived here in Chile :francis: so I'm kinda waiting for it to get upped in the usual places :scheme:

They put those 2 little funky ass dollars in the envelope, might as well open it and add it to the daily profit margin for #CatSet #NoReadGang. :yeshrug:
That paltry 2 dollars wasn't enough to fund a no reading #Catset lifestyle

Not a manga reader but I hear from folks who have read it that her death hasn’t been “confirmed”.

I think it would be pretty wild(or bad writing) to state that there is a possibility that she lives then don’t actually confirm it one way or another unless she comes back. Could be wrong though :yeshrug:

That eye is gone though :pachaha:

Breh she's been gone for like 4 arcs now after they took her away, I don't think she's coming back :heh:. That's Gege's style though, there's characters in this arc that you will never see again even though they're alive

One thing I liked about today's SxF episode is that when Anya lies to her classmates about how great the trip in terms of hyping it up. It's ironic that both Loid and Yuri tell her that lying is bad considering how lying is essential part of their job and core. A core theme of this series is how each person uses lies so they can stay in the position they are happy with. Then hitting this frame with everyone feeling guilty and awkward was hilarious :mjlol:

Ragna Crimson ep 11 adapted parts of chapters 22,23 & 24. One consistent theme for this adapteion is that they have been rearranging these chapters in the anime so it flows better. So I give them credit with that. After next week cour 2 starts and lets see how the animation holds since this is when heavy action starts.

RIP slime you were a good boy, but you might have pushed your jokes too far towards those twins. :mjcry:

Poor Ragna the training is people actually trying to kill him :mjlol: But I don't blame him for thinking Lia falling for him has to be a misunderstanding. The part where the old man mentions Ragna's strength isn't talent, but of hard work. Tho it raises the question how did someone of hard work beat the old man? Well if they ever found the answer they would be flabber gasted :lolbron:

I like the stuff from Zoro and Tara. Zoro has the dilemia of while they have the memories of their past they have a problem understanding it form an emotional level. Which is sad. Ultimata gave them this power but for Zoro if they forgot about their previous life it would be less painful. Meanwhile for Tara he has the same resolve he had in his previous life. He lives by his honor. Which is cool to see that personality wise when they become superior dragons their personality is the same. Obviously gaining a power can always change them.

:dead: I mean she got a point.

Couple of interesting things from this episode being Cocubine Ah-Duo's lead lady in waiting is hella suspect to me. Also the revelation of Maomao's pops being the one to deliver Ah-Duo's baby wasn't one I was expecting. Also this episode is def putting it out there that Jinshi and Ah-Duo are possibly related.
