When Mappa is doing this well with JJK and clearly the numbers back them up. It shouldn't come across as more of a shock. This kind of stuff has been more a thing with S2 more so then S1 from what I recall.

Looks like we are back with a Rose arc again. 559 is kind of obsessive with Rose who was also given her powers by Shadow. I am not sure why she is jealous. I don't get the point of attack the mother knowing that Rose would clearly defend her. Since the ring was already taken away.
Man Shadow not understanding what the code number stuff was fukking hilarious. I doubt he knows the name of any of them besides the greek alphabet ones and I highly doubt he even knows 666 is Rose. He getting so upset of Rose getting married was hilarious. He thought he completely understood why but that news blindsided him and triggered him

Gotta be honest tho a watching this arc weekly diminshes the impact of it if you haven't read the manga imo. Still great, but just with how it flows fits too good on a binge for a first time anime only experience imo.
